Found a nice way to get fucked over in PQs as a tank. group of people can't take the hero at the end so they ask you to come tank and they heal, You sit there and get the mob down to nothing and then they stop healing and let you die and fuck you out of any loot and if it is just you and a healer and a dps they get gold and red bags....

If you don't release until the roll is finished, I'm pretty sure you retain your contribution. Same way you get exp, etc. after dying until you release. Still though, that's a pretty shitty thing for them to do.

I crash so much in this game I don't even get pissed about it anymore. I just accept it, and treat it like switching servers in TF2. I am not exagerating when I say I crash once an hour if I'm outside, and after every single t2 scenario. How the fuck does this happen? I was fine for about 2 days this week when I lowered my clipping plane to nil, and now it's as bad as it can possible get barring the game setting my computer on fire.

And why can you only use certain rams on certain keeps? I tried sieging the orc keep earlier, and despite having a Dwarf ram in the dwarf zone against the dwarf racial enemy we were only allowed to put Empire/Elf/Chaos on the siege point. What epic idiocy is this? Or is this another one of those 'bugs' that Mythic labels as anything blatantly retarded that any amount of play testing would have caught, but because they were rushing this game they didn't think to give their assholes more than a once over after the messiest diarrhea ever.

Still like the game, but poor balance and moronic bugs and crashing have notched it from a 4-5 star title to a 3-4 star title. I don't have much faith for any of the issues I'm concerned about to be addressed before I leave them behind.

Has there been -any- response for the following bullshit items?

1) Mounts in tier 2 scenarios. This is just as bad as tier 2 gear in tier 1 instances back in beta. Grab the pacifier first? Good game, you win. Grab the artifact first? Kill 10 guys, good game, you win. No one cares about faggot elves but I'm sure that it fucks up CTF too.

2) Siege equipment idiocy. Why are rams separated racially aside from looks? It makes no sense. By the time we knocked down the doors a dozen destruction had shown up. Not that they could kill anyone, but they prevented us from killing the lord.

3) Crashing. Fuck you Mark Jacobs, everyone in my guild (FIVE OF US) crash a few times every night, and I crash every time I load a new area that isn't a scenario. Crashing. How hard is it not to completely botch resource management?

4) The artifact in Mourkain has a cast time to pick it up, but it can't be interrupted.

5) Why am I punished for trying to solo as a caster healer? Did I do something wrong when I decided to help my realm out by being awesome? I cannot level in PVE, not because of a lack of desire to, but because it's like grinding in Everquest. Except there's no downtime, so it's a never ending slog of grunts and particle effects as I try to kill a spawn of 3 mobs except I never finish the last before respawns. And I'm 3 levels higher than these guys. If I didn't rock scenarios I'd quit this game.

Oh, and if anyone wants in a guild of assholes send me a tell after ~6 EST and ~2 pm EST on weekends. Perks include being told to go fuck yourself, and being paired up with people who rolled all healers because we know no one would want us otherwise.

I got blackguard gear from repairing the sword master damaged type items in Highpass from the Gorrs PQ. Gay.... kinda wished they kept the black guard o'well. Perhaps a content patch will bring back the Choppa and Knight of the Blazing sun (they're mirrors of existing classes wouldnt be impossible).

Actually, the classes removed were mirrors of each other. Josh Drescher told me at PAX that, for example, the Choppa had to be pulled because they could never really get the Hammerer to feel "right." Since class parity is their number one priority they had to nix the Choppa, which even a year ago in beta was a fairly fun class to play.

Blackguard and KotBS are mirrors of existing classes though.

What? Every appeal I've put in that wasnt a bug/feedback, but a issue i needed at that time, the shit was answered in less then 30 minutes every time. Range from Exploits, to quest bugged. Be careful in keeps PQs. You want to get a rez. The time to loot the bag is 30 seconds, that's all the time you get from when rolls are done to the chest poofing and NPCs spawning. They really need to increase this to 2 minutes. This way you have time to get rezzed and/or maybe run back and still get your bag. I've seen a guy miss a gold bag because they couldn't find him to rez or didn't care, and he wasn't able to get it.

Few gripes today defending a keep. Pets. When on the oil you can repair it, but if the oil gets hit it stops the repair and you have to click it again to get started. Now with 1 siege weapon hitting that oil(for the oils that can not be reached by ranged dps on the ground) you can repair enough to get enough dumps down. 1 White lion pet though or SH pet can constantly hit the Oil through the wall, never letting you repair it.

Also being able to solo pull the keep lord out on the to balconies and having his champ guards leash back inside, so your group of 6 can take the keep back is retarded.Guild on our server notorious for this and have kept the t3 keeps for order for days straight, by running around with a group of 6 30/31's. Granted 1 defense force could stop them and we did today, but thats rare.

Placment of some siege weapons on the ramparts, half the screen is blocked by the actual structure so you cant even see half your firing zone.

Lastly AE moves/spells go through the keep doors. So a good group of casters/tanks/healers could literally AE at the door with someone on oil above and take a pretty big chuck of people out. Use 3-5 tanks crammed into the door frame with rotating hold the line, then casters behind them doing all their AEs with someone on oil above.

Wouldn't it make more fucking sense if the bag automatically went into your pack after the roll? *shakes head* I don't see the point of the chest looting mechanic except to fuck over people who died doing it. Also if your packs were full just have a special slot in the bags for just PQ loot bags. Anything is better than what we have atm... unless of course that IS their intentions...

Aye I agree. There are a lot of "no duh" things in this game they didn't do right, which I don't understand considering the amazingly large amount of things they did do right. Hopefully a lot of this stuff will be corrected in a reasonable amount of time.

Anyone else notice an extra reward in your account center? I was given a "DAoC Sub" as a reward. I'm not sure if it's because I pre-ordered or what. Pretty nice of them I thought.
