is there a list somewhere that shows what those new AA's are all about?

The new AAs for every class are pretty much dead sexy. I haven't found one I don't like yet. Even the general new ones = 15% more harvesting and 10% faster crafts. Woohoo for crafting! I am being serious...otherwise you can get +2.5% health and power.

As a defiler, I find none of these AA really good
As a SK, these AA are awesome!

That's cause defilers always get the shaft. Betray to Mystic and you will never look back. I sure didn't.

Defilers kicked mystic ass back when I played. How's that changed?

Also, after reading about some of the expansion content and the vendor debacle, I've decided to just sell/give the account away. Too bad the sk changes didn't come sooner.

When I was playing, shadowknights still had a hige issue with their survivability, due to a lower uncontested avoidance, is it still like that or has it changed considerably now?

In short: is SK tanking still depressing?

How's the expansion going? I remember everyone excited for Kunark then totally let down (it seemed). I couldn't play past the noobie levels without quitting last time but am interested in playing some sort of game now

Sk's I know seem ecstatic with changes and tank very well, use one as off tank in raid and they do good damage.

They made them agro monsters, improved a lot of their survivability AA, made them kings (if not near it) of taking aoe encounters, and from what i understand TSO doesn't have kunarks absolutely inane lack of specificly designed aoe encounters and linked mobs.

Reaver lost it's disadvantage, the hate transfer aa (used to give 3% of each group member's hate to the sk) now is an aoe large damage, large hate, and blocks the next hit that does over 25% of the SK's life (handy for crazy ass boss spikes). They nixed the SK's pet, and put in an aoe sort of rescue kind of agro ability+damage. I didn't get it (no room ) but the reflect aa now is constant and reflects 20% of creature/profession spells back at caster (i'm so considering taking it, but divine aura and the str end line power is too uber. oh yea that one got 30% casting speed increase also).

They've also done a better job of making sure both the spellcasting and melee sides of the SK are augmented by apropriate gear, aa, and skill (like siphon str. takes INT also now). They stopped being so jewish with giving gear designed to augment the SK less mitigation than guardians.

AND from what i understand, plenty of TSO fights are linked mobs, which the SK excels at.

So versus the emo-quality-depressing days of Kunark, things are looking amazing for the SK right now.

You know, asside from how shitty things were going for the SK, i think i enjoyed Kunark the most of all the eq2 expansions. I'm pretty casual though, mostly questing, some grouping, little to no raiding. I just felt like the quests in kunark were better, and the zones felt more alive/nostalgic in kunark than any other place i've been in eq2.
