Warhammer: Road to War Minigame

Didn't find anything in the Warhammer thread, so here goes a new thread.

Warhammer Road to WAR

If you're part of the winning realm, you'll get an ingame title. Also some other in-game rewards if you make it up in the ranking. So far, 9 of the top 10 people are Destruction...

Enter your own e-mail address as a referral and you get the 500g reward. Log on once a day and take part in the daily poll for extra gold.

Soon, people can post "heads" on their websites and people who click ones of the enemy faction and the person who posted them get gold. Seems like something people could post here and give each other a boost? There will also be codes hidden that you can enter for gold. Can use this thread to post where they are

The gold you have is then allocated to the US state you're in and contributes to the faction's victory there. You can also transfer money to other states and take part in the weekly challenges, which also reward those of the winning side who have taken part.

Seems like a fun mini-game and a way to get some special in-game stuff. Non-US residents can play also and can freely pick the state they want to contribute to. That being said, I haven't figured out how that works yet - I think it's supposed to ask after I log in, but it hasn't done so.

hmm i can't seem to place my region pin.

edit: nm i had to log out and log back in. something funky with the google maps thing.

Worked for me now. I think you have to wait on the front page until the dots have all loaded before logging in.

Order shouldn't be. Based on the North American map the number of Order and Destruction players are dead even. The problems seem to crop up where Destruction is more organized.

*insert rhetoric about Horde being more pvp oriented, hence better organized, than Alliance here*

I refuse to play this dumb game because I got all excited when I saw the email to "Join the Battle on the Road to WAR" and thought I was in Beta. What a tease.

Heh, I actually thought that, too. Then again, for being on the winning side you get an in-game item on top of the title. Might be worth it just for that.

Here's the description of what you get - not sure if it's useful, maybe out of combat regen?

uh every poll i have ever seen is a landslide in favor of destruction.

The current battle gives a bonus to the 50 largest contributors to the two battle states. (Texas & Rhode Island) Is there a way to see how much the current top 50 have contributed?

It does look like Destruction will win, but what's stopping people from signing up one account on either faction?

The winners will probably be awarded keys, so there should be no association with the email address you use..
