| Registered User | Those bitches better not make me resub, this better not be as amazing as the potential could be. If I can script their actions somehow and equip them with gear and such and essentially twink and multi-boxing players with only 1 account, without all the work .... fuck |

| We bawlin boi! | That was a key feature of that game set in Greece/Rome or whatever it was that failed, dont remember the name. Gods and Heroes? I always thought one of the cool things they did in Vanguard was to allow necros to equip body parts on their pets, this would be the next logical step if you got to equip permanent NPCs you paid for. If you could put them in formation, gear them up, set their AI etc, that would be really fun.

| Definitely interested in hearing more, though I'm not sure I would trust the AI with anything other than Warriors, Rogues and (possibly) Wizards. It might change the dynamic from a "boxed cleric" to a "pet warrior" though. Here's hoping for a "time-locked progression server" announcement out of Fan Faire. |

| Could be interesting. Would be nice if they had some level of scriptability like parties in Baldurs Gate. Although, I think that would be hoping for too much. While I l love the multi player nature of MMORPGs and prefer grouping over soloing, I hate the multi-player nature of MMORPGs that leaves me in a group of 4 other people with our thumbs up our ass because we cant find a healer. |

+1 Internets | Sounds interesting. I hope they really limit how these mercenaries work. It would be lame if any class could just hire up a whole group and do their own thing. I am looking forward to the next expansion, though. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun to go back and fight specific historical battles. I wonder when the release date is going to be. |
