| I thought pain and suffering was when the server couldn't resolve how you died, just knew you were <0 hps or something similar. That's why you got it when you zoned and died during the zone. You were below 0 hps but you couldn't get a death message from a mob not in the zone. Maybe, maybe not. |

| Saw all mine mentioned already except one (unless I missed it). Early on in GoD there was a bug in the quest line that opened the raid instances in Kod'Taz I think it was. You turned in a rune (or maybe 4, I forget) to an npc and he gave back one rune (on your mouse too) and 2% of an AA worth of exp, however you could keep giving him the rune over and over and it gave exp every time. Auto click program and a day later I was done with AA's. Just have to check every 30 minutes or so to spend the AA's so you didn't get capped. |

| Brad's not the only one to talk about all of the undiscovered quests. There was a SOE dev post that mentioned it fairly recently. I doubt it's as many as 25%, but, it's apparently true that a lot still are. |

| Necros had the best exploits... The necro in my guild allowed for all sorts of fun: The DMF clickie + mount that let you levitate as high as you wanted - allowed you to easily pass through the world geometry in PoEB and run to the Rathe Council area for easy setup of a CoH. Also had good time running on the rooftops in VT with a handful of people and killing all of the bosses. Same method could be used to exploit numerous other places / bosses. Not really an exploit, but Necro charm in CoD... great for powerleveling the first froglok to 65.... and then multi-questing the cleric epic ... fun thread: http://www.fohguild.org/forums/mmorp...-frogloks.html |

+17 Internets | When the frogloks took over grobb they were a NPC that if you gave 5 gold and were under level 5? he would buff you and send you on some quest. If you were over level 5 however he would give you 5 gold for 'not needing this' and another 5 gold for being too high level. I was too lazy to set up an auto clicker to make anything off it. By this time all the newbie zones were perma empty so a friend of mine set one up and had it running for a week or so with a dummy account. I read someone earlier using MQ2 to do SoF raid content? I thought MQ2/ghostkill/no delay/whatever was done with a while back. I always wanted to try it out and 'go out with a bang' and pretty much end any ideas of coming back to EQ heh. *edit* Just read the Fansy stuff. I would of paid to see that first hand. This gnome mage wasn't in CT, and now that I think of it, might not have been a gnome. It had to do with the guild The Council and then Farstorm.

| Uhh are you sure it was Sanya? I remember Sanya was very active on the Daoc forums and eventually she got fired and went somewhere else. I knew about the VP story when it happened, but I never heard that it was Sanya. |

| Yeah it was fun as hell being one of the very few people with BoT key, maybe out of 20, and charming Askr the Lost and doing everything in the zone. It was so exciting because that loot was pretty good at the time and had potential to upgrade your mediocre slots and it was also amazing exp. The enchanter I used to do it with is still around, where are you Sinzar? |

| Haha I loved the exploit on Combine with treasure chests. It was funny because about a month before the Combine I came back to EQ and played on a totally random server, untwinked, just to try and reexperience being a newb. I thought I'd get the new quests a try and was led to Feerrot to /open a few treasure chests in the water. I noticed just opening them gave exp, and it was good. Come Combine/Sleeper I got my enchanter to around 20 the normal way just because it was so freaking fun, then went straight to Feerrot. It was without a doubt the fastest exp on the servers and I slowly passed everyone on Sleeper. I started to get competition though and there was a lot of MQ'ers there that would warp to the chests and beat me because I was stuck swimming. Of course I'd threaten them and they'd go away and I'd get me retarded exp back. |

I never remember hearing Sanya associated with it, but it was done on Karana (maybe Terris-Thule after the server split) and mostly to Valon.

| Registered User | Didn't see this one I used a ton listed so might as well throw it up here. In the Coterie (the vampires) castle in Tenebrous Mountains in Luclin, there was a little indent in the wall at the top of the stairs to the room where the "boss" was. If you stood in that indent you were out of melee range and the mobs would just line up in front of it. The boss wasn't too major or anything so he was on like a ten minute respawn and when you killed him a more major boss would spawn. I think there were some gloves I'd sell off the first one that went for like 30k on Xegony and then the second boss that spawned dropped some stuff that would go for about 100k+. My group of friends kept that one pretty hush hush until it finally got patched. We also half-ass used it to level some alts but there weren't enough mobs for it to be that great. |

| little stor Exploits? Never ran really into alot of exploits until i played on Sullon Zek. Hi2u warpspeed quadrupplingx4 halfings. And of course the pullers, they always exploited. Once, that was shortly after luclin, i solod Tantor in WesternWastes as cleric. He is pretty imune to roots, magic nukes (clerics dont have more)and hit like a truck. I had sero boots but the cast time was too long to use it. So the only thing i had basically was the emperror shawl for mana regen and a rancid bottle with a few charges sow left. That whole fight took 6 hours, the first was only trying to figure a strat(path, timing ect). I kited Tantor and the only real way to damage him was a level 30 cleric nuke with 110 damage or something hilarious. The big nukes got usually resisted. It was an act only a mad robot would consider. Run, cast level 30 nuke, run, evade werstern wastes stuff ect... As retarded as it sounds at the end it was a good feeling. :P CLERIC POWAH 8( Last edited by kasey : 08-13-2008 at 10:02 AM. |
