Anyone remember the solo exp nerf in early/mid PoP? What a piece of shit that was. I was 2nd bard to 65 on Veeshan (Strumms beat me) because I was solo kiting in Valor before more than a handful of people could zone in. The frogs were 2-3% a kill pre nerf. Then SoE slapped a solo exp nerf on my face and I cried. Also just got a flashback of trading ethereal parchments for spectral parchments to Strumms because you guys had a shitload of spectral because they were bugged/way to common in HoHa, but because of most of the guild exping there and nowhere else, you had zero ethereal. I was so happy trading like 7 ethereal for 7 spectral. Good shit.

They server website you may be looking for is: Tallon Vallon Zek: Everquest Classic PVP All you need to play is a copy of Everquest Titanium (Either CD or torrent) I personally can not wait to do classic pvp progression. Their average prime time numbers are around 160 people. I am sure this will increase with a fresh start and word of mouth. Heh, we may even have more people playing the EQmac server! | |

I did indeed plan on playing progression, as did two RL friends, but I'm glad to have found Mac instead, both for all the reasons above and because I'm able to play now.

My EQ experience only lasted from Beta 3 to a few months after Velious launched so this is definitely right up my alley!

ProjectEQ :: Index is the website, there is a settup file in there that you can run (With titanium client being set up previously) and it will pretty much do everything for you. Some small files to download, but it wouldn't take more than 5 minutes. From there you can access all of the servers being hosted at the login, somewhere around 30 of them with their own rules, etc. Go ahead and neg me for EQfaggotry.

| One year after I rounded up the people for FV and was totally anti hack (because I wanted it to last long and to experience the difficulty of old EQ), I came back and succumbed and just went balls deep. Had a shitload of fun for about 4 months, I mean a SHITLOAD OF FUN. Here's one screenshot of something I think only me and two friends were able to pull off. Oh, we also made a few thousand dollars...I mean a "few"...each....if you know what I mean. Notice in that SS he dropped 2 fists, they each sold for 6mil. You could sell 1mil for $62 wholesale if you knew the right website.

| I never cheated in Everquest, but looking back, I might as well have. When I quit in 2003 I only had like 90 AA's, but since I had decent-ish raid gear I sold my character for $700 or so if I remember correctly. One of the main reasons I was so bored with the game is because I thought it was so mind numbing to grind AA's, and everyone was doing LDONs for them at the time, or PoE or PoF. Honestly I didn't even KNOW about any cheats outside of ShowEQ. Had I known about Macroquest and everything it could do I probably would have been tempted. |
