+17 Internets | [WoW] Recruit-A-Friend on Roids So in their latest play for world domination, it looks like Blizzard is beefing up Recruit-A-Friend and it seems kind of exploitable. It's on worldofwarcraft.com and the Launcher splash screen, but here's the benefits if you recruit a new player:
So I see two issues: First, all those 5 box shaman teams are going to level 3 times as fast!! Second, couldn't you hardcore game the "free level per 2 levels" system? As in, if you're making one alt, make a second account, get both to 35 in no time using triple xp, then forget the alt until you're ~70 and instant level it to 60? In any case, the triple xp thing for friends is a pretty cool idea. And I'm sure the Zhevra mount will spur a lot of new subs. |

| Okay, the mount I get...but triple XP (when grouped)? I see Blizzard pissing off a lot of people with that one if they don't offer more than one way to get it.

+6 Internets | The for every 2 levels, you can't just nail them to 60. So for every 2 levels, you get a bonus one for them. So 35-60 is 25 levels, 24 to round down, is 12 free levels. So you can bump them to level 47. |

| No shit. That's what this promotion should be called, and he could do commercials from his basement in a leopard smoking jacket with a crack-whore on each arm, and a glass of wine. Hi, I'm Sam. Looking over my shoulder at the chains and manacles, you may be thinking to yourself, "What the fuck?". What the fuck indeed. Have you ever wondered what it might be like to run your own virtual army? Have you ever heard the scream of your enemies, and the lamenting of their women in full 3d sound? Well, after today you need want no longer. With World of Warcraft's new "Sam da Man" program you too can go from being a Cog in your average guild, to running your own. When the DPS starts rolling in so do the ladies. Hi, I'm Sam. What's your game? Then one of the crack-whores grabs money off the desk and runs screaming up the stairs as it fades to black. +39 Internets | OH exactly what I needed, was planning to level a bunch of new chars in prevision of wotlk. That's like, awesomeness. Especially since one of the char would be a paladin, which fucking SUCKED to level back then. |
