Game integrity = being forced to grind through 4 year old content.

I'd pay 5 bucks for a level 60 char of whatever class/race combo I want, sure.

someone that spends more money is better in game == sacrifice of integrity.

Can you recruit accounts which have already been made? (I have a spare account, basically because I went emo with scissors on my WoW discs once).

Thinking that I could get free game time to offset renewing the second account, and then power level two almost free alts and transfer the one on the second account across at lv60. So I'd pay the cost of a transfer for a shitty mount I'll never use and an easy Druid + maybe Hunter for the expansion.

Petition: If, at some point, new servers are opened, will the refer-a-friend
triple experience bonus work on them right away?

Answer: The information we have at this time indicates that the program will work on new servers when they are released, but as with all games of this type that is open to change.
Just passing it along.

Pretty sure you can only recruit brand-new accounts, made with the new keys sent out since the new program started.

You've been able to do that since the game begin in November of 2004 (ebay gold).

I'd say that the way everyone is using this bonus here (multiboxing) will represent less than 5% of the actual audience. It's mostly targeted toward casual people who will want to play with their friends.

sure, except ebay gold isn't sponsored by blizzard.

God, I don't know why I even bother. But the only game that exists happens at level 70. The grind to 70 is nothing but going through quests, seeing (new) zones, and meeting (new) NPC's. Doing it quicker does not in any way compromise that.

i dunno why you bother either. the content is there for a reason. it isn't there so they can charge extra money to bypass it. why even make it then?

it is a compromise of integrity, just like selling premade characters or items would be.

Seriously if the game had just come out I'd understand, but nobody needs to redo the barrens and thousand needles and shit the slow way just so some high levels can feel better about the time they invested. Everyone has a 70 by now or at least knows someone with (at least) one. DAoC let people start at level 20 I think eventually once they had a high level character, this is just a better way of doing it.

This whole RAF is so ridiculously overpowered for multiboxing it is just kind of unbelieveable.

I am going to get: 4 mounts, 4 months free game time for my main account, 3x XP to level up my 5-Shaman multibox team, and two instant 60 alts. (4x60/2).

This really shows what is happening now that Blizzard is being taken over by Activision.

Honestly it is just unreal to me how insanely overpowered this is for multiboxers.

how long did it take you to get to 1-16? Took my 3 man shaman team like 10 hours, but a couple hours of those was setting up the whole multi box thing and learning it, as I had never done it before. Hoping it'll go faster once I get used to everything and put some more macros in to ease things up

Started up 3 trial accounts and made 4 mages to catch up in level to the pally im currently leveling. With my brothers 70 pally running us through VC starting at 10 I had 4 mages at level 20 in under 6 hours played. At least an hour of that least was setting up an autokey thing that I ended up not using at all except to autofollow. Anyways, was pretty fun multiboxing for the first time, but I forgot until level 20 that I was using trials and I couldnt level them any higher, so I used them to insta level 2 characters on my account to level 20.

P.S. Apparently multiboxing pisses a lot of people off. Had a few douche bags harassing me with tells about how I was cheating and that they had reported me.

Itll be interesting to see how Blizz responds the QQ that is sure to come from multibox teams in the Wotlk pvp zone.

They're annoying as is in BG's but its not that big of a deal b/c you dont see em too much. I imagine having one perma camped in the pvp zone is going to upset alot of people.

God help the poor souls on Sam's server.
