| Disc Priests are pretty much all shield. They're as vulnerable to dispels as ever. Retribution hotfix. Judgements of the Wise now also regenerates 20% of your maximum mana whenever you judge. For a Ret Paladin, it's enough to fight on... but for a Holy Paladin, it means JotW is worth over 2k mp5. |

Is Sheath of Light still having that shitty bug that it overwrites a more powerful HoT if you crit with a lower damage spell? I suppose that at 80 it could be a good build, I must have been looking at 70 and thinking "Where the fuck do you put points to get the "good" talents?"

+29 Internets | What makes Beacon of Light so terrible? Does it not gift any overhealing to the Beacon? Or is it because the concept of not spamming heals on one target is bitter to Pallys who have never done anything else? |

| I keep hearing people talk about how you can use Beacon by putting it on the tank and then getting double your heals when you heal the tank. Does that not work? It seems it would be worth it if it does, as you can do with Flash what other healers can't with their largest heals. |

| You can be the BoW/BoM bitch as 43/28 too. Beacon of Light might be a great raid talent, but I haven't done any of that so I don't know how it performs there. In 5mans it's a bit lackluster. It only works on effective healing (same as Sheath), doesn't cover as many targets, and doesn't auto-target like the other AE heals do. The Sheath HoT is just gravy really. You don't care if it fires or not. It's the extra spellpower you're after. It adds more than Divine Guidance which most people would tell you is a required talent for a Holy Paladin. In the end it's really 10% haste + Beacon vs 2000 mp5 + several hundred spellpower. |

God I loved leveling my Feral for that first month and a half. If I'm going to be able to just AE everything as a Holy/Ret spec, I'll have to look at which of the PvP gear will be better for spell damage/sta. (Likely the Shockadin set?)

| I don't see how Sheath of Light and Judgements of the Wise could possibly go Live where they are. And any kind of Paladin healing gear will work. Come WotLK it all gets converted to Spellpower anyway. Healing gear is just as good or better than damage stuff. |

| They are fairly similar, but after a little looking, it seems the Lamellar gear has a bit more Sta and sacrifices a bit of Int for it. Spell Power seems about the same (within a small variation) and the same with crit as well. Looks like I'll be buying myself some shockadin gear for leveling if I don't need the MP5 from my standard healing gear. |
