Subscribed, they making enough changes/improvments to keep me interested.

Dark Templars are still pretty gimp though.

At my work there was a big push to play it, but every single person from here (about 7-8) that tried it came back to WoW and has been raiding and etc like nothing happened.

Cancelled. It was fun at first, but really lost it's luster quickly.

Still subbed, but only because I sold my WoW account and don't think there's a point of starting from a scratch when I'll probably be only able to play for 2-3 more months.

i like AoC approach to healing, but other things keep me from subscribing. i don't think i can resub WoW since i now despise that healing system even more. i would consider returning if they made significant changes. i don't expect them to.

The good news is that you're still alive. The bad news is that that's the good news. Also, you have no legs.

Didn't subscribe. Free EQ 1 is more enjoyable and engaging than AoC for me, plus I don't upgrade my computer for gaming anymore.

same boat. i really like a lot of things aoc has done, like the combat system, the healing system, the FFA PVP (ya i know eq), the tighter guild environment, etc. it will make it hard to play wotlk, although i'm pretty sure I will cuz blizzard just rocks at making polished content good for 1-3 months of play.

sadly my account has 3 months on it due to free beta giveaways, i'll login once in a while and tool around and hope they fix things up. i'm glad my toon is on deathwhisper though, I have a feeling 3/4ths of the servers are going to turn into the same type of zombie wow servers we saw a year or two ago.

Reason I gave to Funcom when I canceled my AoC subscription:

"AoC core mechanics are better than EQ and WoW, but the game needs a couple of months to polish. Most of the content at level 80 is bugged in some reprehensible ways: raid lockout timers not working, bosses not dropping loot, untuned content (way too easy or way too hard), really bad itemization, siege battle exploits, and more. With 5 years of development and existing models to compare against, I'd expect the PVP experience to be at least on par with WoW. AoC falls short.

Simply put I'm not going to pay to play a game I feel is beta quality at best. I'll consider resubscribing in 6 months when there's more polish to AoC's end-game, if Warhammer Online fails to ship. For now I'll go reactivate my WoW subscription instead.

For what it's worth, my MMO experience:

EverQuest = 182 days /played
World of Warcraft = 195 days /played"

I'm still in. I'm only 43 so it's been smooth sailing so far for the most part. If I hit a wall before they get a chance to add content I'll probably stop playing. For now it's fun and will keep me busy until WAR comes out I hope. If siege is fixed by the time I hit 80 I might stay for a good while.

This for me, too. I know it is mostly aesthetics, but I like the different "races" to at least look different, if not have some additional gameplay significance. The whole Mortal Kombat fatality thing got old, as well.

Canceled, another dev team that doesn't understand their game at all.

I've only played for a week. I like the idea of PvP at 80 with the sieges and all. It's not that bad thus far.

Even in low levels though, I've seen many bugs and crashes. Quests that don't work, locked doors you can walk through, et al.

Same for me. And as a general way of things, I find it enjoyable will keep paying to play until it's not. We'll see how buying the horse helps out on the travel annoyance.
