This. Also, I learned way back in fucking MC that you should never tab target for anything. See, there were these things called lava packs that all were pretty close together and had the same names. If you tried to tab target it was more than likely that you would end up targeting a mob from a different pack thus having to deal with two packs at once. Not a total wipe if you were with a solid guild, but it was guaranteed repair costs for the pulling mage at least and probably a bunch of other folks in the raid.

I felt the same way until they changed the targetting system. The patch that changed targetting through walls fubar'd the targetting response or some shit, because it hasn't been the same since. I use tab target in large packs now simply because it's quicker for about the same amount of accuracy.

What you apparently "learned" back in fucking MC was that you were terrible at using visual cues to determine what you had targeted. Oh shit you tab targeted to a different pack and sheeped, wiping the raid? Yeah, tab is obviously a horrible tool beacuse of that.

Would any of you had made statements like that about EQ? "Yeah, it's hard to find the right target to mez, so I just don't". Just because wow is perceived as easymode doesn't mean you have to suck.

Man if you were sheeping anything in MC then there's something mentally wrong with you in the first place. I mean, aside from the two bosses.

You do know there's a targeting circle on the ground below the mob you have targeted, so if you notice that it's the next pack over you should probably keep on pounding that tab button.

Every time I start even thinking that the institutionalized warlock on mage Hate is perhaps so much prejudice.... a mage like these shows up.

If I can fear/seduce/banish, manage dot rotations/crit bolt threat spikes, and still control my pet (if necessary) all at the same time, whining about the rigors and absolute horror of managing to sheep 1 damn thing each pull, even WITH the insanity of, I dont know, bolting it to pull it out of pali's reach; thats just crazy talk.

And yes, I did just talk up my points while dumbing the oppositions down for the sake of melodrama...
