6 of my characters were expired when I logged in last month (all over 6 months old). My 2 highest characters were gone, trying to log them in told me they had expired. My lowest level characters I was able to log onto. Confusing and disappointing.

It has to do with the names i think, if they say expired and someone makes a new character with that name then your guy is poofed

So how do you get an enigma that doesn't poof due to duplicated runes? I found that trading for anything in D2 was a complete waste of time but it's crazy hard to get those runes together by yourself.

Unless its changed, the best way to get things to stick was upgrading lower runes to the runes you need. That created a new, non-dupped item that you could use.

That's a really good free bot that does everything you could want without needing a second operating system on your computer to run the bot minimized. My engima hammerdin used that bot for days on end without any bans or crashes. Every other bot I've used (even the shitty pay ones) either can't run minimized, get you the quick ban, or won't give you as much customizability. I don't think that one has automule though, so if you're the kind of person that likes keeping every Shako that drops (while also not interested in muling yourself every 3 hours), look for another bot, such as turbot.

Looks like the creator of the bot went mia though, so just look around on that site for other bots/any d2 hack you need. That's the best forum for all d2 programs.

Its not hard to get low-mid level runes legit.
Then you upgrade them.
3 of a kind up to Thul iirc can be muted like gems.
From there higher its 2 of a kind + a specific gem.

Getting legit mid level gems isnt that hard either.
you can farm the countess solo. Who has 1 rune drop every time, and like a 50% chance for 2. They are random however, so you can get like el eth.. Up to Io from her.
The other way is to have 2 accounts/players and power level alts to hellforge quest. You only need to be level 40 to kill nm ancients, which then would allow you to do hell hellforge. So between nm and hell hellforge, you have at least 1 mid, and 1 high level rune drop. And with diablo leveling, you could really do 2-3 a day if you wanted and knew how. Nvm, if you had multiple accounts to do 7 at once.

And to the guy asking about why D2 is fun.

D2 is an old school game. The kind rarely made anymore for mainstream gaming.

Its more akin to PC desktop gaming.
While it has fairly complex gameplay once you get past the simple basic gameplay (Breakpoints, farming, runewords, etc.), the basic game itself is that old repetitive game style you see in things like tower defense, dota, a mario game, etc.

Its the kind of game, you can just sit down for 10 minutes and play.
