| [EVE] Latest News Since the previous thread, BoB+LV vs. the South East no longer applies I thought I'd start a new thread. I have questions regarding current EVE politics, and with the shutdown of SHC's GBBS there's no place to ask them. What's going on? Smashkill almost dead yet? Digital Renegades took Blackout's space in Paragon Soul. Did they have BoB's help or did Blackout just fold? PL is now a spaceholding alliance? I never thought I'd see that, or is it just temporary? |

| I don't know what's going on with the other alliances/corps but I'm already amused by how the CSM is being viewed by a segment of the Eve community so far. I'm still waiting to see how Factional Warfare unfolds and if the pirates of Eve live upto BArtle's insinuations of killer playertypes, FW will start off with excessive enthusiasm but the pkers will eventually kill so many high sec players low sec will revert back to the "no-mans" land it has been before FW existed. |

| Short version: Everyone who isn't either BoB (and their new pets), RSF (+AAA/etc) or the New Old North (MM/RZR/Iron/etc) is in the process of losing their space. TRI imploded in a puff of drama after their carebears drove away their PvP corps with moon-greed, Insurgency bet on the wrong horse, MC are dead, BRUCE are dead, FIX are dead (again), IAC fell to pieces after their best CEO ever turned out to be a GHSC spy (duh), Blackout had some sort of drama meltdown but at least gave us a little warning about it, Atlas are running off to empire, and Smashkill are fitting multispecs onto everything and claiming that they didn't want that Sov4 constellation anyway. Meanwhile, both BoB and the RSF are churning out titans as fast as we can because any fix for them is six months off, minimum. |

| It seem that after all this time, Jade Constantine is still at it. The fact that someone with so little substance and power keeps making his way into the highest reaches just by wagging his tongue shows how EVE truly is an amazing mirror of the real world. |

+4 Internets | yeah they hold most of the good moons in fountain, and by way of bruce failure cascading, they accidently own a few of the stations as well. In the category of nobody really cares news, NOTR (corp, No Trademark) dissolved NOTR (Notoriety Alliance), amidst a bunch of bs, drama, lies, and propaganda. We were accused, amongst other things, of 'emptying the alliance hangars' (lol) as well as swiping 11 billion isk or some other made-up rediculous number from the alliance wallet. We're keeping Notoriety Alliance alive via a holding corp for use in the Tournaments. |

+1 Internets | It did kind of suck to hear that Atlas are fleeing. But as far as I'm concerned since Goons took BWF my killboard has never looked brighter. ![]() All smack aside, the last month or so has been awesome. Great PvP on all fronts.

+5 Internets | In other news, the CSM, being representative of EVE in general, has apparently immediately turned into nine people flinging insults, assembling miniature power blocs, arguing at the slightest provocation about trivialities, and backstabbing each other. |

| I read the most recent meeting minutes and they were hilarious. It was 9 petty bureaucrats arguing about the most trivial things. What made it even more funny is the fact that they're video game bureaucrats... |

| Honestly the blame on this point should fall on CCP. I read their 17ish page thesis on why the CSM would be so great, yet in that entire document the majority of rules addressed the election process and not exactly how the CSM should run itself post election. An elected body made up of people from atleast 6 different countries is going to lead to problems in how meetings should be conducted. CCP being an international company should've forseen the complications of putting together people coming from different schools of national thought. They didn't and now the CSM has to lay down the ground rules for future elected players, if the program continues. |

+17 Internets | Since the FoH guide to Eve thread is pretty much long gone and this wouldn't really fit into the other thread I figure I'd ask it here. Has anything been said about starting a new server? I'd personally like to see how things would unfold if the reset button was hit honestly. |
