For srever I'd pick Tunare. it has a nice healthy pop. And They have a public raid raid group that raids top end content with 60-70 people on a night. 4-5 other nice guilds to join as you level. I play on both AB and Tunare. But the public raiding on Tunare has me playing more there.

Update, being 75 in guk is tough especially on tanks if you go any farther then bed room. Last night was 4 grouping with me (75 shaman) a 75 monk / ber / and paly) Cleared all the zone in mobs all the way to bed room on live and dead side. Then we got a friend who boexed a 80 war and cleric .. and went around to the live side entrance near the minotaur patriarch, noone was there so it was really nice, got the patriarch to spawn twice, red to a level 75 .. hit the monk for 2400/1600/758/1231 pretty decent. Once on the war tho, easily done.. dropped darkened azure sleeves, 355/355/355 cleave 3 .. ect ect all/all which is pretty nice.

I seriously havnt had this much fun in forever, its like I am back in highschool again playing during summer vacation. Lower guk so much fun <3

The weapon delays are disappointing, they don't match up with the hps at all. I haven't played in a couple years so was hoping the SSoY might be an upgrade to the King's mace from RSS, but its not even close.

Seriously. Its amazing how much worse the newer animations are than the old-school ones. I used to use the old models even regardless of not having access to my horse, simply because I loathe seeing the Luclin animations that much.

I have to give SOE some credit; this free play offer was very smart. I would guess 30+ (and growing) people from my AoC Guild started playing again or started the trial. We are only logging into AoC twice a week to raid and see no point in playing broken PvP. We originally started to mess around with EQ because it is free and we felt it would be a time filler between raids and allow Funcom more time to get their shit together. The problem is playing EQ2 has really made us realize what a steaming pile of shit AoC is. I have tried to like AoC and I have said in other posts that I would give Funcom 6 months, but I am now sitting here wondering why I am paying to play a BETA.

I am enjoying EQ2 so much that I even went out and bought a second copy so I can two box a Swash with my Templar. My first experience with EQ2 was a year ago and the highest level I attained was 40 with a Shadow Knight; I played mostly solo and had some friends playing good so the over all experience was kind of meh. This time however rolling into EQ2 with a pre-formed guild has been a blast. I honestly see myself getting both my characters to 80 and diving into the raid content.

I queued the game for download while playing VG, I dunno if the station launcher does background downloads but if it does it should be done. Give my rogue another semi-annual run around the world being lost as hell. But yeah seeing a new dark elf mask and SBD just... wow.

Is the "new guk" actually the old one with new textures, or what? Did they redo the zone at all?

Same here with my rogue. Used it for a long time when I first made him. then shelfed him for my paladin, brought him back and used the Fabled SBD when they came out, and now i'm down here camping the darkened SBD.

Its the same old guk though, just mobs are 73-80~ish no new textures and its only for a month. i've heard it ends 8-04-08. but then again splitpaw was supposed to be temporary too.

Wow exp is certainly faster, not really surprising but it is funny to see the good ol' yellow bar with a blue line through the middle moving that fast. Got into a Bastion of Thunder group. First time grouping in... just about 6 years it looks like.

well living legacy is useless for me, i am euro and if i start playing again i'd like to try to raid a bit, and there is no euro guild on my server, and SOE customer service tells me i have to pay to get to an european server...

I just don't get how they can not offer a free xfer to all the people returning, after they completely messed up the servers by merging them and that most of the old guilds are dead
