Does nearly every new mob in EQ summon now? I nuked what I thought was a normal trash mob in Blightfire Moors last night and half way through the second spell it's nibbling on my nutsack. Fortunately for me it was a piss easy mob but it brought all that risk of death nostalgia back when you used to wander around an old zone. What can I expect as a wizzy now, is quad kiting as a soloing alternative truly dead?

The agro system is still fucking retarded. Doing gathering quests yesterday, Huka and I agro'd the entire fucking zone of level 30 grey mobs.

Doing SolA, Moors and Stone Hive to get the alts to 42 I have yet to see a summon on my enchanter, even though I pull 20 mobs at a time and kite them to the kill spot.

If you are referring to mob summoning, they don't begin doing that until level 55+.

For shits and giggles, I made a warrior the other day and bought a ton of top end twink gear to try to solo Naggy (all Luclin era vis slots, DoD non vis, GoD mainhand). I started this project at 12:30am, by 7am (I know, I need a job), I was 52 with 70 AA's. I even intentionally spent a couple of hours fooling around in Crushbone soloing before I decided to powerlevel myself. Leveling in EQ these days is a joke.

Uh, that type of powerleveling has been around since the game launched, so I'm going to go with "No." in response to your statement.

Your levelx1.5 is the highest level person you can group with and still get experience.
