http://lucy.allakhazam.com/itemlist....+of+skinspikes The price scales based on the potions. The higher the DS/level req, the more they'll cost.

Also, Solteris 1 involves killing 9 mobs in 5 minutes time, all of which have different resistances to weapon types and spells, and you have to do a lot of shifting there. It's not something you use constantly, but it's pretty handy every so often.

+2 Internets | I'm playing as Malicar on FV if anyone wants to chat, group or give me money. I'm so poor =/ Ro is awesome leveling though...it's like a third per kill. Also Rahotep kicked my ass earlier.

I've been playing on AB. It seems fine for finding groups and population. Alot of people here rerolled/moved to AB during the last free char transfer. I suggest you start there if you don't know anyone else on another server. Or one of the PvP servers if that's your thing. The play the fae trial caps out at level 10. I'm pretty sure you needed an active (paid) account at some point to qualify for the free 2 month thing. Kinda sucks tho for new players. I have read a few lite posts where new players or recently quit players have gotten the free 2 month thing by contacting GM/CS. Look thru their forums, I think that's where I've seen it. They've said GM/CS has been very lenient on letting people into these 2 free months even if they didn't qualify for it. But that this with a grain of salt. I only glanced at the topics there and I have no idea on what their official stance is.

| All right, I got to level 5 and decided to leave the newbie area, and it says I can't unless I subscribe. Seeing as play is free until the end of July, I'm going to go ahead and subscribe-- but, that's a pretty weird trial. You have to download the entire game, but then you can only play in one zone? How about, I dunno, letting people download just that one zone, instead of making them spend hours downloading the whole thing, then spend less time playing than they did downloading. I'm familiar with the antics of the MMO industry so it doesn't surprise or faze me, but, if I was Average Joe off the street just trying out the game, I'd be pretty ripshit right about now. |

Wherever you start I recommend heading to TD early. Quest loots there are far and above what's offered in the other starting areas. Plainly put, those 1-20 rewards will last you well into your 30s before you have to look for replacements. 100% safe to travel to from Qeynos/FP and 95% safe from Neriak. Think the only agro mobs are around the canyon which can easily be avoided. Kelethin kinda retarded traveling there and probably deathly if you don't know the way. Not impossible but the roads thru BBM aren't exactally safe at 1 or agro free. I've done it before as well as alot of other people so it'll probably take you a few tries, but annoying none the less. My first time there to TD and I was completely lost. I decided to just create a new Sarnak and play thru to level 10 before trying to run a newbie from one of the other places to there. 10 levels is 30 mins. Considering how much time goes into a MMO, I just consider that 30 mins a 'tutorial'. =) I just wanted to make sure, which trial did you try? There's actually 2 from SOE. Trial of Isle (I think) and Play the Fae. Both still work I think. If you only made it to level 5 and tried to leave my first guess would the isle one. Fae one only allows you to level 10 but GFay is the full zone. It's plenty large enough for mobs and quests all the way to 20. Mid 20s even if you wanted to do all the late teen quests when they are still blue/green to you.

| We bawlin boi! | So yea, my gf has been playing some EQ2 on Guk (why she chose that server idk), but there is hardly ever anyone to group with. The game at low lvls (she's almost 50 now, and still don't see a lot of people to group with) seems devoid of all life.

| EQ2 has a truckload of zones to play in at almost every level range, which makes the population as thin as it can be, especially on low population servers. I used to play on Lucan D'Lere and there I could always find people around, but not that many. Stick to EoF levelling zones, I bet they have the highest number of players, at 68 move to Kunark. |
