Talent builder for WotLK alpha

I think the 51 pt elemental talent could use some work..the 5% mana gained lead me to believe it's a pve talent. Then I saw the knockback...so you can knock mobs away from the rest of the ae.

Deep elemental seems exclusively PVP. Resto is amazing. Enhance is pretty boring. I think we all expected the beast within to be tacked to rage eventually, Spirit Wolves are probably just treants with a new model, weapon spec is a nice dps boost at least. The biggest thing is probably 100% int->ap conversion, will make hunter gear compete with rogue gear finally, as long as there isn't a bunch of mp5 on it of course.

Enhance didn't really get enough to make it PVP viable though, Rage and Wolves will just help when people try to gank you. 3/4 of the time you are still pretty bad, and there's no survivability boost to deal with the massive dps buffs your opponents will be getting.

edit: Wow, Imp Fire Nova totem gives a 2 sec aoe stun now.

No, they are merging the various types of hit, crit and haste into one stat each though, so the gear overlap between specs and with hunters should be much higher. ( i.e. ranged + melee + spell -> one new stat ).

The first non-instant spell that can be cast while moving? It looks like Shadowfury got it's stun buffed by 1 second and can be used on the run now.

Maybe it'll start a trend, I know someone mentioned paladin heals needing similar buffs.

Any of those rogue talents legit?Seem awfully good atm. My friend who plays a rogue say's their BS talents and no way they can be real cause their too good. Anyone in the beta able to confirm they are real?

They are. The one about getting poisoned when you heal a poisoned target (Devious Poisons) made me laugh.

That's cool. Rogues are really weak in PvP and PvE right now, they could really use a serious boost or no one's gonna even be playing them.

What game are you playing? Seriously because if you think rogues are weak in pvp and pve then its not World of Warcraft you are playing.

Boy it really frustrates me reading these threads. I could not find a 3vs3 or 5vs5 arena team to SAVE MY LIFE on my rogue about 9-12 months ago. Even having very high resilience for the time (end of season 1, I had 260.) I would shout in the channels for hours upon hours upon hours. I'll reactivate him for WoLk just in time for the massive nerfs to be on the suck side again.

Try looking around and you will see rogues are far from weak in pvp, and are currently fighting for the top spot with warlocks in pve when it comes to dps.
