Remember it'll be wotlk as well. Healer + anything will be able to do it yeah. I'm thinking with new tier of bandages and heal pots you might even be able to pull off some 3 dps combo's.

But yeah, regardless. I imagine it would ultimately be mostly generic stuff like the screenshot showed. Complete # of quests, sell 200 items on the AH, etc..etc...

Druid had hunter kill the bugged? Onyxia Warder that aggros into the room during Phase 2 if Onyxia moves to a certain spot toward the entrance at the same time the Warder is pathing back, which is not an intended part of the encounter design.

I haven't seen this discussed but the lack of Pally info has got me thinking. Pallies are obviously so far behind the other healers right now, it's embarrassing. They can give us HoTs, group heals or reactives but that doesn't really separate us from the pack. I can only think of one really unique talented ability that will keep Holy Paladins unique from other healers.

Give them the ability to move while casting. While this ability would be overpowered for the other healers that have casted DD spells, Pallies have very few cast time spells outside of heals. Turn Evil, the undead/demon AE and Hammer of Wrath are all that come to mind. While it wouldn't solve the mana regen issue, I think it would go a long way to boost Pally healing without just sticking PW:S and Rejuv on them and calling it a day.

I played EQ Cleric for almost 5 years, from shortly after release to sometime in 2004 and I am apparently the only person who ever enjoyed playing the class. I never even had any alts... I loved healing as a cleric in EQ.

Obviously this is not a part of the encounter design if it necessitates that the stars align and Onyxia paths to a certain spot in the sky at the same time a warder paths over closest to the door. I realize that the longer P2 continues the more likely this is to occur, but I'm not convinced this is an intended mechanic as I remember this occurring from time to time back in 2005 when last I bothered killing her.

Paladin heals have to be worse because they have the best buffs. #1 change they need to make is have blessings drop if the casting Paladin isn't in the same instance.

We’ll be moving to a system that, as part of your talents, will let players convert healing into spell-damage and vice-versa as part of their talents. That way they can use the exact same gear, but their talents just adapt what it does.”
Works for me. Curious if they'll just reitemize everything or just move forward with WoTLK gear.

Not too keen on spell hit on my healing gear though... and what about set bonuses? Going back to the really generic/non-concentrated set bonuses?

Chances are they'd keep the normal class sets. Just non-set gear that drops will be generic so you have less rot. Like how paladin dps plate will be shared with warrior. Feral will be shared with rogues. Enhancement with hunter.

So hitting 11 mil subs and having more money coming in than they've ever seen yet current and future gear development is falling backwards into some lazy one skin for each armour type and generic stats for all pattern. I'm trying to imagine a situation where I, as a pure dps class, would ever switch from dps to healing talents on my armour. Why didn't he just come out and say this is an awesome development for healers and hybrids but the pure dps casters can just keep on hoping.
