| Any current or past Vanguard players? Looking for opinions I started playing EQ1 with my most trusted and loyal mmorpg friend. We got bored and disappointed by AOC and had the crazy idea of duoing monk/shaman on EQ1 classic. Well, we actually decided to play our own progression (leveling only on classic, kunark and velious) because we hate or are unknown to anything after planes of power. We are having a blast leveling our characters in kunark after all these years. We suddenly thought about Vanguard (a game we never played) and wondered if it would be similar to EQ1 in some ways at this point. We like meaningful grinding, meaningful exploration, dangerous dungeons and overall difficulty that you do not find in WoW or AOC. Does vanguard offer anything like this? |

| Manny, Manny, Manny | if you all are just starting out, and want do play as a group. You can have a blast as there are tons of low level dungeons. They are huge as well. It still has some bugs and you need a decent computer to run it. You all should have fun if your going to play as a group and level up with one another. |

| You really need three or four to get most of the fun out of Vanguard (a full group is even better, of course). Most of the content that you would duo will end up being solo content anyway, and mind-numbingly boring. It's a fun game to play through once though. |
