Weird. It seems most of the people I know from different games / forums have all been rolling on Doomsayer. I myself and about 13 other gamers from down here in Orlando have rolled here as well. We're all relativly low level at the moment (25 and below) and started a small guild till we find our place in a larger PvP / keep oriented guild. Feel free to look me up sometime, and I'll let everyone in our guild know to leave the kids from Ruin alone from now on.

A lot of us Orlando folk are on Cimmeria (pvp-rp). I'm there as Mippo/Ranger of course. Waterford Lakes represent!

I'm kind of surprised at the leniency of the guild naming policy. I'm on Doomsayer and have seen "Rape, Pillage and Rape" and "I Pee In Your Butt." There was another name that had "Fucking" right in the middle, and it didn't even appear to be using special characters.

I saw "Kotton Kollecting Krew" as well. They were advertising it as a Stygians-only guild.

Figure I'd throw this out there. I made a website for my AoC guild, but many of them prefer what they have now - so I think they are going to keep it.

If any guilds need a decent website I have one that I will customize for you:

I can change all the colors and even change the banner to fit your guild name if you please. Theres a few buttons on there I never finished before they decided they wanted to keep their old ones, but I can easily fix them before helping you set it up.

The website is completely powered by SMF, a free forum. It has pretty much everything you'd need from a forum, from my experience. The front page news is automatically put there when you post in certain sections of the forum (Public News, and Guild News! Who woulda thunk it!). But only members can see the guild news on the front. Um... What else... Yeah, just PM me if you're interested.

Our guild name is "The Box." Min req to join is 60, we have about 25 over 70 and 10 80's.

My group is late 60's and in desperate need of a PoM but could use another DPSer as well since our HoX's computer decided that AOC sucks.

That's what's good about FFA-PVP servers. IF a player's name or guild name offends you, you can just kill him. If it's offensive to enough players, that person/guild will get targetted too much and the guild will break up / lose its active members.

Well the game is rated M17, which covers blood and gore, intense violence, language, nudity, and sexual themes. So think it's all fine in their books.

I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just surprised.

On a related note, my account finally froze this morning (10 day trial). I went to check out my account page and I saw that they have an option to enable Parental Controls through your account so that whenever you're on that account, the game will force-enable parental control stuff. Serves no purpose for me but it's a pretty neat feature, although I do wonder if it'll somehow censor those guild names.
