I'm too damn lazy to read the last 10-15 pages, but did anybody else note the new economy destroyer that slipped past AoC's top-tier QA Department? Apparently, mini-bosses (of which there are quite a few) in epic instances in Keshatta (Onyx? Not sure which.) are supposed to drop 30-40 silver and it's supposed to be divided up amongst the raiders. But, it's bugged and only divides by the first group, then gives that amount to each raider. So, if your raid keeps just one person in the first group (therefore, each raider getting 30+ silver per boss/mini kill), you can see how massed moneys can be grabbed pretty darn quickly.

The forum mods are deleting posts about this on the Official Forums before the ink dries, so it's decidedly possible that this is all true. Some of these threads are saying guilds are getting over 300 gold per night using this interesting "bug". One guild on my server has their Tier 3 city completed, allegedly, and I'm sure most of us here can attest that it's fairly remotely possible they did this legitimately.

gold is gold but i have no idea how you convert 300 gold into 200,000 basalt so if they have a t3 city that must be an entirely different dupe... that or they are just really strict and make everyone farm alot.

the onyx bug is true, all the top instances are working like this. there are half a dozen ways to farm gold, about 1/2 can be botted solo so a lot of the top guillds just have people on 24x7 farming with scripts. for example the epic fotd minibosses drop 1-3 blues and silver, you can script bot the spawn points and get 10g+ overnite.

farming resources botwise is also trivial, just partially clear any of the resource zones (frozen swamp, oasis, etc) then park a script bot in front of basalt, iron, duskmetal, gold, whatever else you need. the nodes restock 10% every 3-4 minutes, and the zones are bugged so you never will get attacked by prospectors and such. just have a bot that right clicks every 3-5 minutes and run it 24 hours, and you'll have stacks and stacks and stacks of whatever.

there are tons of ways to exploit the system for gold, epics, resources, whatever. maybe the PC version is just a really long beta test for the xbox version

Casters might be the only viable class for group pvp right now, but I still don't think anything beats charging into a group, CoS loaded, and murdering some unsuspecting player in one shot. I really hope it takes some time before the PvP game matures, like early DaoC where you could have fun in the frontiers without the serious gank squads that followed later on.

Btw, how are bear shamans at 80 in general? There seem to be two types of opinions. One that think they pretty much suck and the other one that believe they are a very powerful class. I ditched mine at 45 some weeks ago but decided to go back and level it up anyway. So far at 55 I honestly can't understand how anyone can find it awesome.

Also ,and this is how many guilds are farming resources since they found it. If 6 people all active a node that is say 100% they each get their share of the resource and it drops appropriately.

However.

Since the game doesn't kick you off a node that is already being gathered and it apparently doesn't want to punish you, if you click a node that is at say 10% and thus only one resource left to gather,then a buddy clicks it you both get something.

If ten people click a basalt all at once,then all 10 get a piece of that basalt. Take 20 script bots and park them on a node to all active every X minutes and all 20 each get a pull off that. You can do the math on how easy it is to farm shit doing this.......

This is all over the net and it has been like this since Live, funcom in their Zeal to fix or add shit hasn't really touched on the multitude of exploits in the game currently and it sucks ass . The economy is all kinds of fucked right now both because of the late addition of a trade hub and becuase of the fact that anything you put up for sael you can't vendor after , this has been a bug since traders went live,so people can't even vendor crap that won't sell on the trader so they just leave it there and lower the price,causing good quality items to plummet in value since nothing is Bop so once someone is done with it it just goes right back on the trader. Asinine.

Did some 20v20 action tonight. Man corruption spec assassins are really useless. I may have to respec. Corruption 70+ is pretty decent if you get a jump on a player standing still but that's about it.

You wear Skyfury/Emp Set stuff? I think there isnt a slot were I do not have better blue gear from PoM or Barbarian Sets.

Definatly powerful in a 1 on 1 situation, you can pop the 2 instants to get like +90% on combo finisher for a very decent burst, but if you want to keep all the buffs running, it's a real pain in the ass to play, especially in groups.

The bracers are very good, as are belt, i'd rather get the invul resists atm for pvp, instead of just +dmg/mana. I have alot of mana regen already from our various talents.. Tunic/pants are close to all the others.. I also have a crafted/socketed + electric dmg set I wear for pve and my boots are cloudcleaver epic tos set from kylasdasdad(sp) crypt. Weapon as of tommorow will be lvl 75 crafted with 3 +33 dmg electric gems.

Stats in general in this game are broken atm, they've fixed a few things like spell dmg for most classes, invul resists, and a couple others but a lot of things are still completely broken or give very little return.

Yeah I was accused of doing that raid exploit bug to buy my epic mount except I'm not even in a guild. I've also been accused of buying gold to buy my mount yet I've been anti buying/selling for years and years now.

The funniest part about the whole thing is the guild on my server, Eximos, that is accusing everyone else of exploiting anything and everything, has been doing that exact raid setup in Epic Keshetta for days now. They typically put the majority of the raid in the city and spawn camp at the ressurection point with some of their members throughout the zone killing the bosses.... They've been doing this for days while accusing every other guild on the server and the truly sad part is, they've been beaten to just about every raid boss and another guild just put up their tier 3 keep so they got beat to that too.

They are exploiting, accusing everyone else of exploiting, and still getting beat to all of the "server firsts". It's pretty funny if you think about it. This same guild claimed that I did the raid exploit in epic khesetta to get my epic mount and I'm not even in a guild so common sense is clearly not a part of the accusation's being thrown around.

The sad part is a lot of us have petitioned the GM's to go and investigate it and they aren't doing ANYTHING to stop it. All they say is they will look into it but they can't comment on any actions taken against other players and yet, it's still going on every hour. Our economy is pretty much going to get ruined by the time they fix this shit.

Exalted Tasset > Skyfury/Emp Legs
Exalted Girdle > Skyfury/Emp Belt
Berserker Harness > * (by far)
Most of our set is slightly inferior or 100% suck.
