| Yeah this is a symptom of a larger bug. Basically if you don't stand still (or stay alive) to let a multihit combo finish, the target's health pops back up even if the hits would have killed them. Last edited by Barellron : 06-17-2008 at 06:38 PM. |

No patch notes yet, probably tomorrow, someone should copy paste them by then, else I'll do it. As for multi hit deaths and stuff, I've seen plenty of weird stuff. I've also been fatalities then fatality canceled by a ToS stun and I was stuck in the guy's model until he moved, then I fell through the world. Weird stuff ^^. Fatalities are actually multihit combos most of the time. We've also had one of our ToS just survive a fatality, his hot ticked right at the same time or something, so after the fatality, he was still alive at 100hps. Oh and about corpse detonation, sure it does crappy damage base, but if you full despoil the soul before stealthing around, you can easily wipe a group. Base damage with 8pt despoil is like 600-1k per corpse, and in keshatta it's not hard to get 8-10corpses even in the shitty tents at the deathmaster camps. It's definitely a one hit group wiper, and the range isn't too small either. Pretty crappy if you don't run full despoil though, especially out of AE grinding camps.

If you are interrupted in any way before finishing it completely the person resets back to the health before the combo lands. TI missed out on not picking Doomsayer. Even though the instance hopping makes it annoying to smash DIE nerds we at SN have been threatened by many a care bears to have our keep destroyed first ;P And to any and all bear shaman whiners. You Are Just Bad. They are extremely powerful solo in well played hands for both PVE and PVP. Never have had a problem taking on any multi mob packs even up to five levels higher while leveling and with some creative play style elites are still doable. Aside from the insta deaths that occur to every single class in the game once in a while I've not had a problem in PVP aside from getting bored fighting certain classes (ToS/PoM/Guard) cause 10+ minutes fights and then them sprinting away makes baby jesus cry or getting a barb to 10% and having him CoS insta gib you from full health. Group is so/so depending on how hard you get assist trained for PVP but two stuns and ursine charge has gotten me out of some sticky messes and they could definitely use some HP love and longer durations/fixes to the 42 million things you can spec into. Overall I love the class as it feels like a challenge to play and you're forced to pay attention if you want to do what some of the less balanced classes can do by rolling their foreheads across the keyboard. | I have my assassin up to 71 right now. Great in PVE, basically steam through mobs 2-3 at a time 2-3 levels above/below me. We have a pretty damn good opener starting at level 70 where you load up a combo, do your charge/stun and just as you get to the target execute the combo and you do a shit load of damage all at once with a 3 sec stun attached to it. However if the target moves at all nothing happens. So yea, you want DPS? Go barb. Cyclone of steel is uber. If I had someone to plevel me or I didn't have to work I'd reroll one of the caster classes like a necro/tos/demo. |

The author is: by briyan Brian Anonymous Blog Admin Plus the closest thing he has to real info is an MSpaint pie chart. I actually find myself disliking the author a great deal after reading his article. He actually has a whole paragraph just saying the game is "bad". It's one thing to not enjoy a game, but what the fuck is up with people having vendetta's against an MMO?

As far as the whole boring issue, I hit level 80 grinding and had a whole shit ton of quests left, been working on those, pvping, farming resources and doing the occasional but buggy raid. AoC is far from perfect, but looking back at every mmo launch other than WoW (Blizzard rarely goes wrong with QA), every mmo has been released without end game content. Hell WoW only had 1 raid zone and it barely worked for the longest time. Tradeskills in WOW were a little less buggy than AOC atm. People seem to forget these things though over the years. Anyone remember UO launch? Servers would crash every hour or more, bugs EVERYWHERE, even lineage II was horrible and they had past experience + tons of money. If you're playing MMO's just get used to it. We waited FOREVER for WoW content, remember doing all the lame argent dawn shit just for naxx release? All huge time sinks because they were unable to get content finished as fast as people went through it... Same goes for sunwell. Blizzard understands and adapts, AOC is doing something similar. As long as they continue to move FORWARD (which they are), the game will continue to be fun and enjoyable, hell at two patches a week they are gonna blow past blizzards patch cycle in a year.

| You mean people who are willing to admit that the game is flawed and needs some improvement but unwilling to act like other games launched in their current states? WoW on release was pretty damn good, but it was far from perfect.
