Nope I would be happy to repost his post history if you'd like. He has 100+ posts in this and the old AoC thread and every one is negative, going way back into the BETA days. A lot of it was grossly exaggerated and untrue. Many other people have repeatedly asked twobit why he has had a personal vendetta against this game for months, and why he spends so much of his time focused on a game he has hated since the beginning.

I know and I also agree that BETA arguements are lame. Its no longer in beta and his stance hasn't changed, but funcom really hasn't given him a reason to change his stance on the issue. Personaly I really enjoy the game and these past 2 patches are really hindering that enjoyment to say the least.

He should of never bought the game then. Why the hell would someone buy the game if he clearly did not enjoy any of it during beta? /boggle

Its like he buys the game so he can buy a ticket to bitch at it some more.

I bought the game as a favor to a friend who wanted to play. No one else we know was playing so I figured 50 bucks was worth a month of fun, something I said was there in the game even back in beta. I wasn't going to until the performance fix the day before launch made it much smoother. That's really the only thing they addressed since then.

Everything else is still just as broken. Harvesting, crafting, city building, sieging, PvP system, DX10, itemization, Funcom support.. hell ToS still don't have spellweaving either. Everything I said was broken in beta and would be broken in launch is broken... so yeah. Unless I am playing on an 'old client' of course.

But I have not bitched about any of that since launch because it's pointless now. People can see for themselves. After being told by CS that it is not policy to assist customers though, it prompted me take a cheap shot at the CS. It's a fucking joke.

Firelance was my only way to kill ToS/PoM...assuming they weren't paying attention, their AE knockback was on cooldown, and they stood perfectly still.

* can now change instances at 20m from rez stones, up from 5m
* Icon pops up when you get mail, working now.
* Throwing spears now still show in hand after throwing the first one (used to just be animation of throwing them w/out a spear being held)
* Resting while afflicted by a DoT effect now properly sets you back into Rest position after taking damage from the DoT.
* Outgoing /tell color used to be yellow, now it's purple.
* Some flora & fauna now appears graduallly and not in chunks, for your viewing experience.
* Some are reporting Grey quests no longer give EXP rewards. Appears some grey quests are still giving exp. Need some clarification.
* Server load indicator at character select screen now display as Low, Medium, or High Load, instead of "normal" load


Settings Menu
* Sound sliders in Audio Options changed from 0-100%, to 10-step sliders.
* New Option in the video settings about Particles(possibly bugged, by not saving what you set it to after re-logging.)
* 'Ambience' sound slider in Audio Options removed.
* Bloom Lighting has been optimized. Doesnt take near the FPS hit when enabled.

Combat
*Parry Has Been Increased Significantly, Especially In Active Block.

Instances
* The climbable vines in Villa Lentulus have been fixed and now show as climb locations
* The quest givers for the guild zones have been moved to the entrance of each
* Line of sight issue in Atzels Fortress improved/partially fixed.
* Halls of eternal frost is itemized now. All bosses are now dropping loot.

Necromancer
* Necro spell Mark of the Devourer bugged. Persists on target even after your death, causing you to res with aggro and be ganked by mobs at the spawn point.
* Ice strike now does splash damage (about 40% of main nuke) without feats
* Pestilential blast now does splash damage (40% of spell damage) without feats
* 'Unimaginable Terror' now has a 45 sec cooldown.

Ranger
* Rangers now have to stand up after certain combos before being able to move again, basicly it means we're imobile while the final shot is being charged.
* Leg hold trap symbol when placed is now red.

Guardian
* Overreach reduced in power. Apprently reduced by 40-60% damage. Strikes that were hitting for 1200-1500 overreach III now hitting for 600-700

Herald of Xotli
* Fire Lance reduced in stamina cost, damage and is now a 2-step Combo. Reduction seems to be ~25-40%

Items
* Some items have had their appearance changed aparantly. One confirmed item being the Vashian Tunic.
* spellbane cloak from the sanctum quest has 0.3% immunity when it used to be 0.00. Seems that many, if not all, cloaks have had Immunity specs tweaked which used to be 0.00. The cloak of ibis has 0.8 immunity, the woodwarders cloak as has 0.8 immunity


Confirmed Bugs Introduced
* There is a bug with group members showing up on zone map. After they leave the group, the blue icon still displays on the zone map and the blue arrow still displays on the minimap.
* Resource nodes become unresponsive if you are interrupted in gathering, either by being attacked or moving.
* Jumping and attempting to spin the camera with A or D keys causes you to become stuck until Landing again. Overall Camera movement is much more jerky and stuttering. Not nearly as fluid as it used to be when doing alot of camera movement.


Notes:

Unconfirmed Changes (need help confirming)
* Assassin poison blades +10% fizzle chance. think it was like 1% before.
* Quest Journal possibly increased in size. Need help confirming.

Possible Bugs

* Reports of Trader's Possibly not listing any items previous to the patch.
* Reports of the foliage nerf affecting trees, which makes trees appear barren, with only branches.

Exp Change Confirmation
* Lower xp per lvl confirmed, ~72000 before patch, 60100 now.
at lvl 33.
* lvl 52 HoX, last patch the XP I needed for next level was around 320k, this patch it was 280k.
* Experience needed to level increased at 79-80 atleast. From 2.9 mill to 3.3 ish.
* before patch needed 2.24 million, after patch I need 2.32 million, 75+


Edit: I just wanted to add, the XP adjustment sorta pisses me off. Not because they increased it in the higher levels or lowered it or anything like that, or simply smoothed the curve. It's that it was undocumented,while the XP increase to Group mobs was documented. Most people don't start grouping seriously in the game till the higher levels, So basically the increase in the group XP is offset by the increase in leveling XP,but not really sicne I think it's just a curve adjustment but it'll still feel like an increase esepcially with the lack of higher end content. Which again is fine, I don't care do what they want with the XP it's fast anyway. It's just that they try and toss in a positive change,and forget to toss in the hand in hand Nerf/Adjustment whatever you want to call it.

It seems they are so concerned about any negativity to the game right now that they are actively trying to hide it by ignoring it, but the irritating thing about that, is that particular ethic only works on an ignorant playerbase,or worse under the assumption that people won't notice it. Which is insulting to your playerbase. They already have posts on their boards telling people to not let the negative nature of the boards get them down, and I am wondering how these undocumented changes that are mostly negative, do anything to helping create a positive environment. Developers assuming their playerbase are stupid this early on in it's cycle doesn't bode well. It's like back when Abashi used to do exactly that until players started calling him out on it constantly. I thought we were passed that shit.

I wish it were true but it's funny 1 person says this on the forum and its all over the place. I mark and ganked some people at rez point to see if it's true and its not.

rank 1 unimaginable terror still has no cooldown. Aoe Chain fears "or stun in pvp" still possible. The immunity starts after fear ends but you can refresh the fear before they gain the immunity.


Today I got fire lanced by an 80 HoX on my 74 necro today (2400 hp) and it brought me from full to 30% life. Made me smile because instead of 900x4 it was hitting for 400ish.

To me, it sounds more like a, "We do not have a documentation manager for releases." I think it is more a case of incompetence than a case of "let's hide the changes so we don't get people mad at us." Honestly, we know their QA/Customer service department was totally unprepared for this, and having developers try to write their own notes for fix releases ends up exactly like this...halfway done.

It's not really a problem for aoc because the 2nd rank of that spell is 45s which I'd imagine is supposed to be on rank 1 as well but isn't. Every cc in the game seems to be on a 45s cooldown and each one has their own immunity.

Its similar to how rangers chain mezzed yahkmar and kept him in one place while ranged dps killed him.

And I don't care if its a bug ill abuse the shit out of it because necro spells are fucking rediculously weak in pvp.

Here are my 2 main nuke in action, flesh to worm and lifestrike. the 50 dmg was my flesh (3 tick total in 6s for 150), 75 from my lifestrike (2 tick, 150 total). Both 400 mana each. YES thats a crossbow in my hands and it does a tasty 250 dmg for FREE.

It's a true story That's exactly why I quit raiding with Afterlife after being a member for 5 years. Four Horsemen was the last raid I attended. About 4-5 months later Hobbe kicked me from the guild for inactivity when I logged in just to say hi to everyone which is kind of pathetic if you ask me but whatever. I wasn't raiding with the guild anyway so it's not a big deal.

That thread was removed from the boards so I didn't get to complete the pure and utter ownage that I handed out on the thread.

The 2 members that were talking shit about me? They were removed from the guild today, a fitting ending.

Ownage like this has not been handed out in a long, long time Not since my Vallon Zek days. I keep getting congratulations, that was badass tells It's awesome.

These guys lied to try to embarass me on the raid boards, I called them out for their lying on the thread, they eventually admitted they changed the story around and then they got booted from their guild.

I'm just kind of pissed they deleted the thread. This ownage was just so pure and complete, it's a shame the thread is gone.
