btw, loving this game otherwise. From some strange reason, its bringing back that intial EQ feeling that I had back in the day. Its nice.

Conqueror is a beast in group pvp, especially with the proc res. Sweet class, stick with it.

My HoX is level 38 now, I am trying to get to 40 tonight so I can use a mount.

Anyway HoX gets much stronger with feats.

The fire lance combo you can get at level 33 is like a nuclear bomb, and no that is not an exageration. I have one-shot "boss" mobs with it that are the same level as me.

However the HoX does stay EXTREMELY squishy, but I guess this is just what the devs intended for this class.

HoX may very well be the best burst class in the game. (I dont know about sustained dps though, probably not).

Yeah. just went and bought the game today. Almost had to beat some Gamestop ass cause they tried to give me a box where they hid the CD's out of the box itself. I threw it back in the guys face and told him to bring me one completely wrapped in origional wrapping if he wanted to not has his fucking arm broken.

Anyways. Bear shaman still the fucking tits? (still increase melee damage the more you heal?) Cause seriously, sounds fucking bad ass weaving heals/damage attacks to reach maximum efficiency while being an unkillable fucking badass smacking the fucking heads in of fucknut sons of bitches.

Anyways. Yeah. Bear shamans still all kinds of fucking power houses for group PvP? Specifically Small group? hard to kill, bad ass support, support leading into bad ass dps as long as you're supporting, which means that you're dpsing at the same time?

I like the HoX concept but not if I'm going to be dying as much as I am now.

My HoX was VERY frustrating pre-15. Right around then he started kicking an incredible amount of us. At 25 now I have no problem charging into a pack of 3 or 4 even con mobs and raping the shit out of them with my AoE damage. Stick with it!

We spoke too soon about the server stability over the last couple days. Set has been lagging to shit all night long and has now crashed. Good times! I figured I'd get to like 25 tonight but I'm lagged and gotten killed about 10 times and gotten kicked from server like 50 times tonight. I must be a glutton for punishment to still be logging in over and over. I get like 3 or 4 kills then lag out. I'm not even 20 yet heh.

Wait until you get fire lance. It is like setting off a nuke.

One Fire lance combo uses the entire stamina bar but it does 2k-3k in damage when you are level 35.

There is no other class in the game that can withstand a full on hit with it.

I made a Barbarian on Set and got to level 5 before the server went down. Seems to be a fun class with good DPS. Anyone have experience with a Barbarian want to share how they are?

I saw the game at Frys for $40 btw, if anyone is on the fence ($10 cheaper than regular retail, I think circuit city is also $40). Apparently the Clan of Conan funcom drinking cape key is giving regular retail keys all kinds of upgrades at the moment as well, from the PVP mounts (rhino/mammoth) to the extra 8 slots (bag) and so on - its supposed to only give accounts the drinking cape. lol

Go 2H for more PvP type skills like knockbacks and stuns, or go dual wield for better DPS at the expense of not having any CC.

I started on a PVE server to see how things are. People were saying in OOC that this server was voted the "unoffical" RP server...any idea where that topic/poll might be located.

If that's true I gotta find a new server.

You know what is even better? I bought the game and I can't access the forums. I created an account yesterday and it's still pending.

I am having various issues, mostly it crashes whenever I log out,whatever. But then I get a bug report form which I can't send , so I try to force close it Via Task Manager and it simply pushes the bug report form again, so I have to spam close it till the end program comes up,awesome.

My Character freezes. Mobs still attack me but I can't move my character,I can press attacks and the UI shows them being used but nothing happens. I can't camp when this occurs have to ctrl/alt/del out of the game,then I get the bug report ~

I can't figure out if this is a known bug or an issue on my end because I can't access the forums.


The game doesn't recognize my mouse buttons? Like the two thumbs and the middle mouse click? What the fuck is that about? all three buttons when pressed just turn auto run on. I use those buttons for the same things in every MMO and for the life of me I can't figure out why this game doesn't recognize them.

Then there is the FPS thing despite having a high end system, the fix has already been posted, and I'll bet my freezing issues are both issues of logitech drivers in the game as both my KB and mouse are that brand.

This game could be the second coming of Christ and there is no way in hell I am cleaning the drivers out of my system for every piece of hardware and peripheral to play it, it's fucking asinine. Works fine for every other game and I'll be damned if I hold funcom to any other standard.
