The Q+E attacks still just hit left and right shields, respectively? There's 0 difference between 1+3 and Q+E except the animation of your char and that some combos require one or the other?

mmm I love my ToS. Just spec thunder and you can AoE tons of mobs with ease, literally all you do is sit there while your pulse AoE's are going off.

Love the healing too, I zoned into this one zone, and this one assassin 3 lvl's higher than me tried to gank me as I was loading, so once I saw the screen I was at half hp. I just healed up to full with a 2 sec heal, put my HoT's on and started attacking him. Then he started to run away cause he saw it was futile. Weaksauce asssassins!

So now about PVP.... this FFA is a pain in the ass. I've played on FFA servers before... but this is insane. Basically, if they can attack you... they will! I got killed 10-15 times in 1 hour. Basically I killed 3-4 mobs and I would get owned. IMO they should only allow PVP after lv 20 on the FFA servers... at least give me a chance to meet people so I can get a group together and defend against ganks. So how do you guys deal with this? I wasn't getting spawn camped, but I also expect this to happen in the future. People seem to be more mature about that in this game.... or maybe they just haven't thought of it yet.

you have the following three options:

1. Go to a PVE server.
2. Keep getting your shit wrecked.
3. Stop playing terribly by standing out in the open asking to get ganked in one of the most gank heavy zones in the game. You have all these PVP-die hards waiting for years for a PVP game, they come into the tutorial zone and chomp at the bit to get into the first PVP zone they can. Then you take a quest and start parading around alone killing snakes?

The chat window itself annoys me the same. Any way to get rid of the casting messages from it? Doesn't look like there's an option in there when I right click it and go through all the choices. Turned different stuff on and off but nothing.

Game is pretty cool, although slow respawns and some buggy mob vs layout gets a little tiresome.

Anyone having probs with the authentication server when they try to login? Keeps saying it can't connect.

just turn off system messages in there, and then add 2 tabs, one for combat and one for system. They both will be automatically configured when you do it

Anyone get a guest pass to work yet? Have a bunch of friends wanting me to get the game or to try it with their guest passes, but it says to go to their register.ageofconan.com site and log in, nothing is there for getting the guest pass key.

I'm level 9. Playing a Barbarian. I kind of enjoy it. I kind of want to try and play a caster.

Servers are down from 1700 GMT (8pm here in Athens, 1pm US East Coast) for approx 2 hours they say. About an hour left.

Can't remember off the top of my head. It's one of the PVE servers. I got tired of trying to kill something and getting slaughtered by people 15 levels higher than me

The game would really benefit from some custom UI mod capability. Overall I'm liking it so far though I can't decide on a class.

Perfect info about which feat spec to go with. Have any other suggestions? I'm on the Set server and so far I'm having a good ol' time with the ToS class!
