+2 Internets | Well 15% reduction for each miss is terrible for any melee in group pvp. It just isn't possible to land most of the 4-5 steps of a combo with any consistency in group pvp. If they reduced all combos to 2-3 steps it may not be quite so bad, or give a longer time period before the combo fades away between each step. In 4-5 hours of group pvp in kheshetta last night on my conqueror I bet I would have been able to count on one hand how many times I would have been able to land all the steps in a combo on a target. Oh, and the new rez bug is a lot of fun.... I was rezzing members of the other team with my FI, and we were getting resurrected by conquerors in other groups. There was one fight where it was 6 of us vs 12, and over the course of the fight I probably got a rez on every person on their team at least once. We kept looking for their conqueror, only to find out they didn't have one. I got half a dozen tells from people we killed asking how I resurrected them in battle. The really strange part about the rez though was that it would sometimes spawn you someplace you had been like 5-10 minutes earlier.... |

+2 Internets | Yeah, Sarum has since posted that he would be getting clarification in a meeting today. About the only plus side to this is that at least they are actively posting in these feedback threads regularly now, even if what they post isn't necessarily right ![]() Does anyone have the link to the leaked PVP information screenshot with the PVP stats and PVP advancement info? There was a lot of talk about it in ventrilo last night, and for the first time in quite a while there was excitement over the potential PVP in the game. |

+2 Internets | It was a screenshot with tabs showing pvp specific resists, damage gems, etc, along with a feats like tab for pvp abilities. There's a new letter from the game director. Kind of a State of the game address along with some information on the general direction of the game. | Totally agree. It is shocking how many of the coders / devs don't seem to have a grasp on simple fractional / percentage math.

| All you have to do now is hide behind something, since LoS will be checked at the end of the spell. This change is gonna effect a lot of casters in pvp, specially for sieges with lots of things to hide behind. I shouldn't say all you have to do, more of a now you can at least get out of the way of the spells easier. =) |

| You have to spec into purge, plus chains doesn't break on damage. I chained a level 68 TOS as a 62 demo and he didn't "unchain" until I killed him after a few nukes. Necor's fear = gay. TOS's CC = gay POM's CC/Knockbank = gay It's all gay and you get gibbed from it. |
