+1 Internets | Doubt it to that extent. Furthermore, people should have been biased towards new servers soon after release. Another aspect could be friends of people who got into EA would roll onto the same servers. But that doesn't explain why there are so many more newbs on some servers than others. +1 Internets | What about the bias towards certain attacks from male characters? All my non-upper left attacks take 40% longer. Male aquilonian. It's noticeable to the naked eye and parses. Is it supposed to be that way single wielding a 1h sword, or is it a bug too? |

| Don't they do appreciably more damage too though? I played a caster mostly but definitely noticed that my upper left attack was faster but weaker when I was flailing away for mana procs.

+24 Internets | Every weapon upper left attack is faster. Even for females, it's actually the same speed as male for females on that side. Why, who knows, probably something to do with the motion capture thingie they were so proud of, since you can hit faster on your left side and recover if you're right handed. It ends up being a bit stupid though. |

It looks like it's a similar pattern over here - about half the servers have an average-to-decent population, the other half are almost empty with nothing in-between. If nothing else, they really ought to start considering merges for the lowest pop servers.

+1 Internets | Affiliation of author doesn't matter in regards to time presented. The convention is to present times in GMT, not local times. Regardless, it doesn't much matter. I went and counted, and Twobit wasn't lying about Bard's pop. -- Itzena; yeah. The only problem is the PR of server merges, which is probably keeping them from doing the right thing. |

| Hmm, those numbers seem reasonable but I doubt they're correct. Wildsoul is the only server with a high population while Fury is only healthy. But at the same time char creation is disabled on Fury since they're at the population cap..??? |

+4 Internets | So wait. If you go to make a new character, the highest pop servers are always on top of the list (and of course there isn't a suggested server or anything)? Wow. And they wonder why there's ghosttowns heh.

+1 Internets | For me they show randomly for about 10 seconds, the flip to high pop-low pop. Also, if you camp out a char then go to make a new char it does start at the top of the list, highest- low. It actually has selected a server for you to roll on, except you can't see that it has. So you click one of the servers showing, which are the high pops. I'm not sure exactly on what is causing the large bias towards newbs rolling on the high pops, but it is there. Oh well, at least Schatze had the decency to come back and admit I was right.

| Anyone remember the statistics from EQ, was it total subscribers = 5x the amount online in prime time? If so, they have about 150K euro subscribers. (probably less when the first month is over for everyone) |

Interesting read; thanks bud. He has used the in game search function to get his data for that. That is FUBAR. Everyone knows its broken; you have absolutely no idea what % of people online you can actually find with it, but I do know I have never been able to find a single one of my friends using a class/level range search.
