Exactly. Leveling up alt #74 in WoW going through the Barrens (with Barrens chat *ON*) is infinitely more entertaining that this piece of shit. If only FunCom's dev and programming staffs were 10% as talented as their art, 3-D modeling, sound/music, and animation staffs, this game would have been Godly. It's a sad waste of what good talent FunCom has.

ROFL. How is it I noticed the tiny ass red pants wearing DT pet tanking Vistrix but I did not notice there are TWO DRAGONS. God I'm fucked.

And that bug is fucked, too. So that basically means they seriously broke every piece of raid content in the last patch... or at least I don't really see how Kylliky's will be possible if you can't stun a spellguard, maybe run the fuck out of LOS as soon as they start doing purple shit... but if you can't CC them you probably also can't single pull with charm, which means it'd be a big mess.

And the worst thing about the last couple of patches imo, moreso than the bugs, is the fact they've blatantly disregarded 100% of player feedback. I mean hell with Thursday's patch it's obvious that not a single person in charge of pushing patches live even opened the beta forums, which is really pathetic. Not to mention it must've gotten zero QA time, but come on, at least have the decency to glance at your test forum.

The trash mobs are almost perfect in Kylikki's Crypt. All they need to do is fix the god damn honorguard trash mobs to not go in evade mode randomly and heal to 100% and than start unleashing on the raid again. They need to have mobs properly reset too.

It actually takes coordination which makes me happy. They also did trash mobs right by having them drop the Tier 1 Raid Epic belts, so they aren't completely pointless to kill.

Spellguards could be toned down a bit, but I like the difficulty of them. The packs aren't impossible to kill but they aren't easy either which makes me contempt.

I can solo kiliki just fine ^^

That's how fucked their raiding game is imo, way too many possible exploits. When a boss can't reach you, he doesn't go evade, he just stays there and die. What kind of retard came up with this? I mean it's ok to have it stay there for a few seconds, so the boss doesn't reset during an encounter because some idiots climbed somewhere he shouldn't, but after 40mins of staying there not being able to reach what is aggroed, it MIGHT be a good idea to reset the boss.

My main gripe with the game is, the performance is worst that when it launched(I have to reload my client more often than at launch, and that's saying a lot when you consider crashing FoTD), random instances go down all the fucking time(you'd expect their server infrastructure to be solid with the amount of instancing there is, yet I don't remember one evening where keshatta didn't go down at least twice, and inbetween crashes you get big lags) which probably fucks up raiding too, since I've seen raid instances go down a lot and they reset.

And they're fucking slow with class balance. Currently all they've managed to do in terms of balance, is hit everything with the nerf bat, and reduce the tediousness of some classes a bit(1hour buffs instead of 5mins, still annoying as shit though since you need like 6-8buffs everytime you die in PvP). Necro has been on the focus for 3+weeks, and it's not any better than it was before, in fact in terms of power it's worse currently than it was. It's a bit better on mechanics though(pet speed, depsoil 1hour duration and refreshable even when not capped, 1hour absorb shield, better scaling of spells for the future). If it takes THIS long to get this kind of results on ONE class, how the fuck are they going to balance all the other classes in a timely manner? Hell they haven't even started working on the reanimation tree. They've spent over 3weeks on fixing nightfall tree, and despoil the soul specifically.

They're starting live test servers, but we'll get the ability to get premades in the "upcoming weekS". Still no sight of the PvP system.


They've done a decent job on some things, but it clearly shows they're lacking manpower currently to fix things faster than they break it, and also add new content. No idea where all the people that were working on the game in the last few beta weeks went. That and they don't care a fuck about their playerbase, they just patch untested shit right away. When WoW crashed nonstop after a patch, it was some random issue with live servers, but it was tested for weeks/months on test server before, so it was unforeseeable(at least once they got their test server up, before that it was a fucking crash fest every patch). When shit crashes in AoC, it's been reported in the little time it was on test, and still goes live.

Kyllikki's trash is really well done at this point. Spellguards should be the first to die. Here's how the mechanics of the AI work: Spellguards cast 2 spells, then they port to the person they are aggro on and AE 3 times. They repeat this loop indefinitely. Guardian should pickup quick aggro, get it to a level that can be sustained and tank it somewhere. It will port (you can see this graphically) on top of the guardian, at which point everyone can run out without being hit by AE. We keep our guardian in--he can take the damage easily--so that he can keep aggro rolling on him so it doesn't port on someone in raid. Finish it off, take out the other two and move on.

To compensate for the non-CC adjustment, they lowered the HP of the mobs substantially. This makes the trash much less repetitive and, actually, quicker. We cleared the entire tomb in under 2 hours. The only thing that seems fucked now is that Kyllikki (as always) has some horrible scripting bugs--apparently, she now doesn't mind control after the first engage. Free loots for all (without exploits!).

Well as long as spellguards have been changed to not wipe the raid in 2 pulses of the purple death blast they'll be fine yeah. I haven't been there since the patch, so just speculation.

It still kills people in 2-3pulses, but if you can't get your ass out before the 2nd pulse, you could probably use some wow pve training 101, aka GET OUT OF THE WAY swf shit. In fact you can even avoid the first tick if you pay attention and start moving away from whoever has aggro before he teleports, assuming you know which way to go. When they're readying the teleport, they do the black aura shit, then as soon as it stops, start running, he's already locked onto one position, he'll wave his arms then white light and teleport where the highest aggro person was when black aura stuff stopped. There's about 1.5secs between the moment he's locked and the moment he starts AEing, and range is small enough than without sprint you can still get out.

This shit is nothing compared to sunwell trash pulls, or the old pre and post twinemps trash in wow. It is definitely much better than everything else they have in the game before that though.

Where are people going to gear up? I'm trying to group tank with a level 80 DT (pet + lot of soldier build) and with a group of four there's very little room for mistakes in Onyx. We tried scorp caves but the waves and waves of scorps coming from the nest that own with poison made us leave there. Any suggestions other than I should have rolled a guardian?

The only reason to have a DT at the moment is the pet it is a tank saver and it is 15 seconds roughly every 55 seocnds of tanks taking no damage at all.

If was not raid leading for my guild then I would not take a DT at all to most fights. Most of the time i just stand there like a gimp keeping a eye over things because my damage is laughable and we have less base mitagation and way less HP then a guardian so I just assign myself to add/trash clearing duty witch we do a fine good job at!

It is very frustrating though seeing people expliot the fuck out of content you spent time learning legit (not alot of time they are all easy), almost comes to the point where funcom keep doing fuck all about it and people start saying "fuck it if you cannot beat them join them".

Last Thursday we had the crypt reset on us 5 times not sure if it our server or it a game wide problem but my god how fucking anoying. When it resets you get ported outside and every single trash mob is back minus the bosses that you killed. 2 of the times it reset while fighting Kyllikki herself one at 50% other about 30 seconds into the fight. I could have dicked slap any funcom person within range at that point.

I don't even know why I bother playing at the moment maybe it is in the vague hope that in 6 months they might have a game I can play

I'm hoping they fix the Treasury of the Ancients relatively soon. The highlight of the instance was definitely the statue heads quest, but i'd really like to give the dead guy his ale before the quest goes gray

Anyone else heard that they're completely revamping the Pyramid? Did what I could in there, but couldn't get past the second floor because of the statue eyes quest being broken. The green gas clouds were pretty cool. Has anyone gone down the right hall yet? I'm thinking I might risk a death just to see whats down there

I was on the 3rd floor yesterday but I had nothing to do up there. The quest part "enter the pyramid" is broken still.
