So what's with the vulnerability windows for attacking battlekeeps?

On Set it's 3AM EST to 5 - 6PM EST

For a pacific player that is 1 am to 2-3 pm. So basically anyone on the pacific coast that works, can't participate in a siege and anyone on the east coast can maybe participate depending on whether they get home early enough.

These things should be say 3 in the afternoon till whatever in the middle of the night or something, is this a fuck up from GMT or is this honestly how it's always going to be? Why are they even pre-defining a window? My guild had to stay up till 3 am last night to try a siege(which ultimately failed due to siege weapons,mounts doing no damage , spells not working on walls and ultimately having to melee the walls down,raid crashing getting sent to random zones and can't come back?)

Not sure why we can't have full 24 hours available, my guess is this is another move on Funcom to cockblock people out of using unfinished content.

Anyone have any idea why we could spend two hours fucking with Vistrix with his breath hitting me with 23-25 resist for like 2k and then suddenly he starts 9king all 3 tanks repeatedly? Seems more than a little strange.

Also I dunno if he's supposed to do this but every time he stuns now he seems to go charging after some random guy killing adds 10 miles away. Not asking for a strat, just if this is normal and not something they broke with him yesterday.

How is it ignorant, we are only allowed to choose vulnerability times in that frame, unless you set it once every X period of time, that is when it selects. . Every guild on our server has started threads and asked for them to change it,which is why I was asking if it was different on other servers?

There isn't something we are missing it's a known issue. The server is an American server and yet it's running , in terms of keeps , on European time frames. It shouldn't be set during that period of time and it should be able to be changed if it is set during that period of time.

The HoX mistake/nerf sucks bigtime. They need to fix that shit ASAP.

Anyone know a good item database site thats on par with Allakhazam? Not sure why Allakhazam doesn't cover AOC but w/e. Also does anyone think the auction/trader search function sucks?

Yeah it's horrible, obviously rushed design though. Lacking even basic shit like being able to type in an item name and hit enter... have to manually click search etc. Annoying.

The whole bank/trader system is, really. Not being able to take some from your mail box - which goes to your bag - because your bank is full? Er? Having to keep an item in your bank while it's up for sale is questionable as well, although it does prevent people from spamming the hell out of the AH to a small extent. Anyway, the concept is good and I certainly don't miss doing the "AH -> mailbox -> AH -> mailbox" dance, just needs some UI team loving.

I don't know about your first paragraph, but tonight we went and our experience was nothing different from any previous run we've had. As for the stun, if multiple people get stunned he swaps aggro to another stunned person. Thus, the reason he ran to someone on adds is because they were too close and he swapped aggro. Obviously, this can be problematic in combination with flames. The solution is to make sure your people keep far enough away not to be hit with vapors.

Ran the new Black Castle last night and it is really well done. The boulder bit was hilarious and awesome. The flame area was neat as was the way around the invulnerable snakes. The bosses are balanced and have some interesting (nothing revolutionary) mechanics. Didn't discover a single bug and we all ended up playing until 3 or 4am on a weeknight, something none of us have done for a video game in a long long time.

I also thought the new Treasury of the Ancients (not sure when that patch went in so maybe this is old) was cool. Im surprised at how much fun we've been having doing these instances considering all of us only really like to pvp. Sanctum is alright but a little bland, but black castle has shown that they know how to make a quality dungeon and one with some puzzle elements that takes it to a nice new level. Gives me hope for their future PvE dungeons.

so i read the last 10 pages or so and everyone is talking about the caster classes.

I just got the game, wanna roll a melee class. do they suck or what? Which are the least gimped?

Did they itemize Black Castle with blue loot?

Not that it matters now, but it would be nice if they had some pre-Sanctum stuff worth a damn.

You could always go caster/melee...Herald of Xotli. Think Demonhunter from WC3 meets a samurai. They're glass cannons, but they pump out some very good DPS (especially PBAoE if the shit is clustered near you). You also get your Super Saijin Demon transform every 3m, which turns you into a badass demon mode that makes you do bonus dmg + emit PBAoE fire dmg constantly.

They're a lil rough to start, but they scale fairly well. The main thing going against them is horrible itemization at the moment...most cloth loot is either geared towards rogue stats or caster stats. You're also restricted to 2H slash, which again there doesn't seem to be enough loot. Some of the quests look to see your archtype (rogue, mage, soldier), see that technically you're a mage, then give you something %100 worthless to a HoX X_X I like the class, though.

You can offset the lack of HoX loot in quests and stuff through either crafting or just buying +str gear on the AH.
