No, I am 65 with barely over 3 days /played and still gaining a level every few hours. 100% solo play and I wasted a good 8 hours farming sanctum at level 46 for my mount (stupid waste of time, I would have had enough gold by 55 just continuing to level).

Okay I am a bit confused by a couple of the "delivery this to this guy in this other zone" quests. Mainly because they have me, at level 32, taking notes/items to npc's in level 70 zones.

For example, I had two different quests to take a note/item to an npc in the swamp near Khopshef Province. And then I run into level 65-75 non-hostile mobs.

Granted, I didn't run into any hostile mobs while doing this. But there was no questline after this, and it just seemed really really pointless to spend 30 minutes running there for 5k exp.

Where should I go for 33-40? Because quests are not helping me out.

2-3 months? Are you on crack? Even casually playing you can hit 80 in a month, and even if you don't the game past 50, 60 is horribly broken.

I'll make it easy for the question: Is this worth buying?

If you enjoy making tons of alts and don't really progress any character past 40-50, then yeah it's pretty decent.

If you want to enjoy a game at max level, you'll be horribly dissapointed.

Yeah I thought it was odd also, hilarious seeing all the low lvls dying all over the noble district because they have a lvl 20 quest that takes them through lvl 40 mobs.

They are really just to encourage people to leave their starting city but they really aren't worth doing unless you happen to be going that way.

The game is weird in that to get to lvl 40 you have to do lvl 20ish quests in the other starting zones, instead of a set lvl 30+ zone. Keep in mind you get the full reward for doing grey quests. Wild lands should get you to 40 and you can move on to the noble district, then field of the dead. I remember a quest for the border ranges in the wild lands at around lvl 35 or so, and some quests for the high 30s mobs outside sanctum.

Petition system is a fucking joke. Why the hell does your petition get deleted after 4 hours of it not being responded to? Its impossible to get a hold of a GM on our server with the que being on average over 50. When the 4 hour mark hits I've only made it to like 20 on the que, then I have to repetition which puts me back up at 50.

In other words, if you want to talk to someone don't try in game because its not going to happen.

About a week before the games release stocks were around 6-8 bucks, then they spiked to 20at launch and have been declining steadily since then back down to what they were around when the game went gold or whatever...

The threads writing about it on the AoC boards keep getting deleted? I don't follow stocks really but is it normal for something to spike and then plummet that quickly? Or is that a bad sign for the game and it's showing something that isn't publicly acknowledged?

It's probably pretty normal. The game had a lot of unexpected hype going for it right after release, in the first 2 weeks or so. There was a lot of good press and word of mouth since everyone was still in the polished part of the game. Now that the majority of people are hitting 40+ and seeing that the game's quality drops considerably in many areas a lot of that initial hype is disappearing. As the hype goes down the expectations of the game do as well, which means less people expect the company to do better than initially expected financially.

If it's not public knowledge, why would it be reflected in the stock price?

The purpose of those quest are to introduce you to the Harvesting Quest and the tradeskill trainers. The reason you saw high level mobs is because the resources zones grow with you as you level. You will eventually run into random spawning mobs in these zones which will spawn at your level. It's actually one of the better things they have done IMO.

I wonder how many subs they will have after the 22th, a lot of people seem to pretty unhappy about the constant crashing and annoying bugs in general.

I still don't understand why people bitch and moan about running out of quests when they refuse to do any group content. If you want to solo you have 5 perfectly repeatable villa quests that have better loot and cash drops than anywhere else you can solo grind. People can question the endgame right now, but there is plenty of shit to do to get to 80.

Man wtf do you people petition about. I hear constant griping about it, and I just dont get it. I have never had to petition once. I rarely do in any game, but I have known people who will petition the most stupid shit, just to bitch. Not saying your's is a dumb reason I have no idea but I see a lot of bitching about it.

Some people might be naive enough to petition about stuff most everyone already takes for granted, i.e. bugged quests, getting stuck and falling through world, crashing every other loading screen, getting frequent 10k lag spikes, freezing, not being able to see the group window and guild tags, etc...

Then I guess there are some genuine retards who try to report people for ganking or camping them.

There were several issues so far related to guild or quest bugs. My latest petition is about harassment; a certain group of players kinda exploits the scripting options of aoc to chat spam me with insults (and no, ignore doesnt help), because they cannot win any battles against us at all.
Its not like I really care about the harassment of some kids; but the opportunity to get them banned is just too good to pass :]

We actually tried to do the leveling as group. So basicly we all run out of quests far earlier than solo players and did a shitload of ae grinding. But thats okay, ae grinding is fast enough to get chars from 20 to 80 on one weekend.
Do stuff as group = less exp for every mob = you do the content faster with less experience overall
Group quests = not worth it experience wise and even if you do it (like we did) it is not enough to make up for anything.
