Like five times now I've got a bug where you fall through everything, requiring a restart.

Its not that bad on a PvP server. Occasionally you get ganked, or do some ganking yourself. Sometimes a quest hub becomes little Baghdad, but that shit is fun as hell.

Anyways, same thing on PvP server, no problem leveling solo.

I do gotta say that im enjoying all the little solo dungeons scattered throughout the game so far.

Only bad thing about leveling currently on a pvp server is white sands/underhalls. On Tyranny there are literally guilds camping this shit (amusingly named as well: "Tortage Port Authority" and such).

Anyway, just means you have to grind in Acheronian Ruins instead. After getting used to grinding I actually prefer that method anyway... I clocked out of Tortage in 5 hours last time with my necro, pretty damn good for not doing any white sands/underhalls quests.

Right now on Tyranny some guild (Legends? Legendary?) is running amok in Noble District heh. Or was 10-15 minutes ago. I logged on to show my brother the game and told him it's not really that crazy on a PvP server. First thing I see is maybe 8-10 level 70+ people running around killing everyone, including me

Generally though yeah you can level unmolested, the odd gank here and there but it's all fun really.

while you can solo level to 80, its easily 10-20x faster if you group up - there are thousands of people who are hitting 80 on alts in under 36 hours by just 6-group grinding in keshetta. I have no desire to stand around for 8 hours a day for 4 days spamming the same buttons, but some guildies have and they started at level 20 2 days ago and are 70 already. By contrast if you play solo you will spend at least 8 days /played (2-3 hours a day = 64+ days).

also almost all of endgame revolves around guilds - crafting, sieges, PVE (such as it is). You can't do sieges/BKs without a strong guild, and you can't make high level armor/weapons without advanced buildings in the guild city.

its very fun 1-50 as a solo RPG, 90% of the quests are fedex but fun combat and fun lore. After that the XP requirements start growing dramatically per level while quest XP doesn't keep up, and quests start getting more and more scarce. I'm pretty sure they will add a ton of quests/zones 50-80 over the next few months, so if you really only play a few hours a week its no big deal.

A lot of people petitioned a broken Destiny quest when their quest wasn't broken. GM's were too stupid to check their story, and now there are tons of players running around with 2 epic rewards from the quest.

Do they simply not have the ability to check what items you have on your character at all or are they just too stupid to check?

Just to give you an idea on their database capabilities.... a friend had the bug where it said his level 60 character was already logged in. A few days later the character didn't show up in that slot, but the slot was reserved. It went on for over a week with multiple emails to funcom. He couldn't even make another character until the servers went down the next week for a patch. After the patch the character was totally gone. Another week of petitions and emails and he received the official response that they aren't sure how are why, but the character was deleted and they have no way of tracking or restoring it. They told him sorry and gave him two free months.

Quick Question...
Just hit 73, and currently in Keshatta? and ran out of quests with the exception of group quests. Is there anywhere else to go for solo quests? or is it pretty much just group and grinding from here to 80?

Kheshatta is all there is for 70-80 sadly.

If you're an AoE class (tos/pom/necro) then just keep solo grinding groups of mobs anywhere you see. As a necro I was able to chain aoe grind east ruins. The mobs there are 65-67 and I did 79-80 which is 3.3 mil xp in 2hr there.

Really depends on what kind of player you are. You are asking a very blanket statement with no information as to what you are looking for.

If you are looking for some fun for 2-3 months leveling/doing small group stuff. Then yeah it's worth buying.

i dunno why people say khes is all there is from 70-80, atzels is still fine up through 74 and only starts to really slow down at like 75. deathmasters is nice but its only for like 76+ and imo outside atzels fort is better than cohorts.

i think lvling up is really fun especially on a pvp server.
