Typical Funcom. When I played AO, they didn't record my credit card. At all. After three months, the account finally froze, and I got a mail telling me "pretty please, could you re-enter your credit card, we lost it".

Thanks for letting us watch you guys play.

If you like some critism... I was kinda disappointed with your enemies as well as that tempest playing. Not a single team was able to take down ToS as only healer (pretty much suicide in 6v6 and killing a tos without other healer as support is a matter of seconds) and the ToS himself wasnt really using most of his abilities (why no storm crown? instant cast with duration = cooldown) and playing ineffective with storm field.

Most people playing guardians are retards, that's why they run around with a shield on in pvp. Only reason I swap to shield in pvp is for the 2nd knockback if my Polearm one is down. Frenzy stance is pretty crappy b/c of AOE's. The massive minuses in invulns is crazy. Even with all your hp you can get 1 shot running around in frenzy. Way to do it is stay in defensive and just as final shot of a combo hits u swap to frenzy and get the +dmg on it, then go back to defensive.

Class is actually the best melee for pvp to me due to bloody vengeance which is hilariously good. LOTS of viable pvp specs too. First talent trees where there are 3+ specs that all have their positives and minuses.

I apologize if I missed this earlier (probably did, given the size of this/the previous thread), but as I come closer to cap, I have a couple of questions in regard to skill allocation:

Hiding -- should this be capped out or is there some magic level where it won't make a difference? I play a HoX; I use it quite frequently, but obviously not a rogue class
Climbing -- how high to access what I "need" to? Need being destiny quest or significant upgrades, et cetera. I don't plan on raiding at this point in time, if that makes a difference.

Hiding, you need about 40 to stealth around in pvp, but you need a higher skill if you want to "resist" perception checks, or stealth closer to mobs(I'm not 100%sure it works though, it seems I can stealth ok at night and none at all during day, skill capped or not).
Climbing depends on the quests you do and stuff. I believe I have 250 on my HoX, for the villa quests, and that was the highest I ever needed.

Yeah it's definitely not cream of the crop footage, a few enemies were greys and some matches were against pugs as well. Just whipped it together for some friends who were asking what it was like.

I put in the 600 needed to climb up to the top of the bridge linking Old Tarantia and Noble District just to jump off, and of course you die mid-air.

Apparently, one GM was suspended for reimbursing a tooth to a guild mate of mine, and it's now against the rules for them to modify any quests besides the destiny line.
All GM's that gave out the tooth's should be suspended. It's fucking bullshit to give tier 2 access to a few players and deny everyone else.

A lot of people petitioned a broken Destiny quest when their quest wasn't broken. GM's were too stupid to check their story, and now there are tons of players running around with 2 epic rewards from the quest.

Do they simply not have the ability to check what items you have on your character at all or are they just too stupid to check?

So how does this game stand for someone that will mostly solo because of time constraints? Don't ask me why but I still find MMORPG to be more interesting then most single player games even when I solo. Not sure if I should give this a go or WoW horde side since I never played that.

I've hardly played with anybody up to 43 as a barbarian, so I think it's pretty solo friendly imo. That's what I get for starting a week after launch D:

hard to say right now, gotta see what the pvp system is to say if its really gonna be casual friendly single player or not... as long as you join a guild with a city or some sort you can do some useful crafting and they do have more solo content and options for solo pve than wow did, but its still not great and unless you just like to lvl alts and pvp in the wild i cant see it being much lasting fun. Leveling up its about as solo friendly as it can get.
