has anyone sold their aoc account, and if so, where? Last wow account I had i sold on ebay but I've heard nowadays they just yank all mmo accounts within a few hours of posting - although lol, just checked and theres a 34 POM selling for $10 with 0 bids, ouch that sucks

me and buddy sold 80's on a pve server. 1k each.
ebay took down the joints after 3-4 days.

Ebay will typically get you the best price as it is going to give you the biggest audience by far. There are a couple tricks. First, they dont look for illegal virtual goods sales over the weekend, so if you put it up on a Friday they won't take it down until Monday. Secondly, they will warn you twice. The third time they suspend your account. The fourth time you get permanently banned.

The second best option is Markee Dragon (www.markeedragon.com). It is all forum based, and extremely unsafe. If you don't play it smart you will get jacked. Just make sure you only sell to someone that is trust who verified and has some feedback.

All that being said, it will be tough to get very much for a lvl 30.

Wonder how much I could get for 2 80s and a 60 on one of the first gen pvp server ^^. But yeah usually ebay is good if you use it like right after launch, there's lots of people looking, so even if they take it down in half a dozen hours, you'll still get contacts.

Considering that ToS and PoMs are leveling champs getting to 30 is like a day, maybe two of work. Could make some decent money at the 60+ range but mainly people will want 80s.

I have considered doing some serious AE powerleveling on some of the harder to level classes to sell at 80. ToS + HoX team is a sight to behold and the PLing is pretty amazing.

How high do you have your Necro Pyros? My guild has 7 damn HoXs in it and zero necros so I have been thinking about rolling one. I can't take the offical boards though so any info you could send my direction would be excellent. Pretty sure there is already necro info in the thread... but its a big fucking thread

Necro is the strongest group pvp class imo and because lots of newbs whine alot and claim that the most imbalanced shit is too weak, they actually got buffs and will get more buffs soon. Listening to players that whine alot in the forums is made of fail and fail.

There is absolutely no reason to bring a single melee class into any group pvp engagement besides maybe a Conq only for the battle rez. It is FAR more optimal to be a caster.

Good that we usually run a barb and a conq with 2 ae chars and 2 healer backline. As long as you do not roll a useless DT or Guardian, you are fine as melee. Picking low damage tanks with minor to none group utility isnt a good move anyway for pvp.

Conq is a walking totem with nice stamina reg aura, combat rezz, enough damage to burst caster down on his own and does actually tank pretty good becausep due to his rezz ability he is often main target.
Barbarian with ae knockback, ae stun, ...ahh who cares. Barbarian has cyclone of steel. Pretty much the only skill anyone cares about. High single target dps and more staying power than caster make him valueable at taking down core characters of the enemy team.
Assassins seem to be lacking abit, mainly due to assassin players being stealth fags that should learn how to play instead of going for a class that sounds like it will be good for stealthganking people. As with most classes that people whine about, I bet they rock with a decent player on the keyboard.
HoX, AE sun, AE root, some ae damage, heavy single target damage and demon forum make him very very dangerous. Luckily they tend to die fast.
Bear Shaman.. best supporter hands down. However being melee without a shield isnt that great for bear shamans. They seem to lack in small group pvp, but shine the larger the battles get.

Looks like some classes seem to lack their role right now (DT, Guardian; or why take Assassin instead of Barb?), while the melees that actually make sense in PvP have their role and do just as good as casters.
And necros best AE is not channeled? Shit, I gotta talk to our necros so they use different spells. I mean.. right now zergs die in 4 seconds. If they can deal more damage.. zergs die in 3? 2? seconds. Guess we could save our cc timers then.

The best Necro AE is channeled but is bugged such that if you let the first tick go through, the rest will also even if you stop channeling and do something else. I mean, I assume it is a bug but whatever.

Don't bother mentioning any of the utterly broken feats and stats. Don't mention that they're a melee class using the shortest-range weapons in the game, with casterlike hit points, cloth armor, and the same evasion chance as a fully plated guardian.

No, it must be all the players that suck at the class...

Edit: Also, stealth fags? Seriously? You're berating players for using one of the class's defining skills? What do you want them to do, walk up to you unstealthed, /salute, then attack you head on? I didn't pay much mind to tradeskills when I hit 40 but now I'm trying to get a good idea of how tradeskills fit into the game. Should I wait until 80 before trying to tackle tradeskills? Are tradeskills actually worth the effort?

Tradeskills are completely and 100% useless right now. Most aren't even functioning properly. It's quite depressing.
