Also any of the people who are playing or thought of playing conquerors but were scared about them being a tank who cannot tank can rest easy. I've tanked every single mob of every single instance now and, although I'm sure a guardian does it better, we can definitely do the job. Once they fix our damage and scale up our offensive buffs we will definitely have a niche in just about any party. Conquerors seem like the perfect class to be second or third into a group, because depending on how the rest of the group forms up they can do a lot of different things.

The trash you killed was prob the raid level minons.

Sooooo thinking about rerolling and im interested in bear shaman despite everyone saying they blow and my only experiences with them have been owning their face with my necro.


How are they at high lvls? Whats their CC? Do you constantly have to keep refreshing buffs like bard class in EQ

Bear Shaman, if you take but a few activated feats (and you will, most passive talents are shit), have a shitload of short duration buffs and HoTs. And don't play one if you read the class description and think that they're "the sturdiest of all the priests" when in fact they're the most squishy. However, they're a lot of fun to play if you like a class with a lot of options.

It's my only huge criticism of AoC. Otherwise a fine Guild-Wars'esque game with a lot more MMO stuff thrown in.

Ahh, good question. I haven't run into any 6 step combos yet. But the ones I have at the mid levels are already pretty bad.

Learning 4 different 2-3 step combo's with their own timing isn't so much a challenge as it's "whack-a-mole" until you learn it as second nature. Not great innovation. But I'll learn 'em eventually.

if you are addicted to MMOs and want to stop playing for a while then you should definitely roll bear shaman, after a few days of playing it you will uninstall aoc from your computer and weep in pain as you no longer can type from developing arthrithis from keypressing so much. on the plus side you get to know the terrain really, really well since you spend so much time running back to tombstones.

BS CC consists of a knockback on a 1-2 min c/d and a 6 second stun on a 2-3 min c/d. Their cone heal is on a 1 min c/d.

What level are you? Bear shaman are ridiculous higher up unless they nerfed them in the last few patches.

I don't think you will see anything but 1 shot abilitys ballanced heavily imho. The game is not about duels or 5v5s etc... its about massive pvp and will be ballanced based on abilitys there.
