Has anyone had a problem with certain random mobs glitching their graphics? I was in some caves and these ghost guys like shot out rays of rainbows every time I looked at them. If I turned my camera away from them I was fine, but looking at them distorted my whole screen.

Once I killed them and their bodies disappeared everything was fine.

We got a 2her with caster stats off one of the bosses in Halls of Frost. Don't remember it being plus fire(magic) damage though.

I fucking hate the stats in this game. Vanguard had the same problem during beta, a whole shit load of confusing stats that hardly did anything; they at least remedied this to some degree before launch though. Why do all these new MMO's try complicated stats, have none of them heard of KISS?

Ok so I'm lotus atm(20) for pvp, and I open up from stealth then do grim corruption then vicious strikes followed by lethargy. My question is am I doing it wrong, or is there just a better pattern to follow? I kill almost any thing my level if I get the stealth attack off.

This is a terrible aspect of AoC's PvP system. Casters just sprint away from you, draining all their stamina and your only choice is to either A) Sprint after them and have no stamina for special attacks and then proceed to get mowed down or B) Let them get way ahead of you to restart their stun/kite process. It's pretty lame, no melee can really survive it because the first round of stuns/dots/dd's will get you to 1/2, then the second sprint set will finish you off. Then again one shots from guardians is lame as well... It's funny how the class that is supposed to be the strongest tank ends up with the most overpowered, highest damage attack. Silly funcom.

I hate KISS for stats. I think WoW's stat system is shit. Technically none of WoW's stats are needed and they could all be used with + AP/Crit/HP, etc. Five stats is not enough I don't think and they don't do things that are unique enough. Stats should give you something you cannot get anywhere else (like +attack power, crit etc, they all can do what stats can do). The primary stats should be unique, but they're not. Having stats in wow is a gimmick.

I'm only up to lvl 48 but the Harbinger armor line appears to be tailor fit for us Heralds. It's light blue cloth armor that usually features some sort of damage boost (one piece I'm wearing gives +fire dmg, another one improves 2-h edged damage) and some melee stats like stamina, constitution, strength or dexterity. Of course I've never found any Harbinger armor myself, I've got shitty luck with light blue drops, but I've managed tp purchase three or four pieces in the trade house.

I think I'm done with AoC. I tried to like it, but I haven't logged in for the past 3 days and I canceled my account today.

The combat system is what really did it in for me, I think. The fact that you have to press 1, 2, 3, Q, or E even just to auto-attack, and then some 3-5 key variation of those for any sort of DPS just killed it for me. It's just soooo fucking tedious fight, after fight, after fight.

I tried the casters, but they seem so terrible at almost every aspect of the game aside from grinding, I can't play one of them either. Perhaps a few months down the road I'll give it another shot if they can make casters worth a shit.

Oh please. That has nothing to do with PVE. I don't play that way when PVP.

Assassins suck in PVP because of their lack of functioning abilities. You can't even begin to try to deny that this is the case. Besides, my barbarian rapes faces.

Not going to convince you to reconsider...but keep this in mind when you play WoW or whatever game is next.

playing a Paladin in WoW...

target main tank
1,1,1,1,1,1.
target DPS who got agro
Click trinket,1,1
target main tank
1,1,1,1,1
sit, eat
repeat as needed.

Feel free to change the class as needed and the numbers to your binds for whatever spells you spam for the duration of a fight.

Feel free to change the game with whatever game you go to next.

Bottom line, its all the same except that AoC doesn't automatically do white damage for you.
