They need to fix the fucking villas and crafting instances refusing to reset, it's irritating. They also need to double the exp from elite mobs, because it is 10x more efficient to just grind on normal mobs with two or three people than fly through an even level dungeon with a group.

My conqueror is level 70 and I'm trying to decide whether to stick with 2h or just switch to dual wield and spec up the brute line far enough for all the crowd control abilities. I'm starting to wonder just how good the general tree actually is.

I'm a guard, and I'm happy. Slow killing except vs. single normal mobs or groups of similar leveled mobs, but I can take down shit other people wouldn't dream of.

Tanking is a LOT more difficult in this game which makes me happy. It makes the fucktards who roll tanks to get groups stand out or reroll because they have no fucking clue. I've already seen a LOT of attrition in those playing guardians. The numbers as you level up decline quite a bit.

Anyone else find that TOM seem to be... Lacking in healing? vs. even con or above, some bosses the priest of mitra can't keep up with healing even using knockbacks etc. Other healing classes I have no problem. It's not a gear/tactic/strategy/etc problem, they just can't seem to heal too well. It might change in the upper 60s, but maybe not.

edit: yeah elite mobs need to give more XP, I can solo a normal mob in like 10 seconds for 2k+ xp, or a group for 6-8. However, for the poopsock grinders, leveling is already too fast.

schatze too fast and too easy.

I'd definitely put both guardians and bear shamen in the boat of significantly better soloers than a HoX, along with the PoM and ToS.

Not living on the edge of dying is quite a boon

And not dying from getting a sudden add, is neat.

I'm at almost 5 days and I'm 70, but I've spent a lot of time doing instances and tougher group stuff rather than grinding.

What level are you at Schatze?

Hmm, just died in the 70-80 zone and it didn't remove my buffs. Rebuffing didn't overwrite them either, running around with double buffs now.

You want to see overpowered? Go check out the arachnid workers in frost swamp. The only mobs in the game that I've ran ino that swing more than once a round, and they proc an initial damage 1200 point dot that hits for 700-900 a tick and seems to last over 15 seconds. They are surrounded by Arachnid Royal Guards, which seem to be typical elite instance mobs and the workers are approximately 342 times harder than the boss of the entire instance. It's like they switched what the queen should do with what the workers should do. This was in my mid 60s, I can't imagine the fun shit they do now that they'd be scaled even higher.

The prophet in the thunder river prison is also either broken or buggy, because even though his target of target can stay on the tank he has this nasty habit of nuking the piss out of random people no matter where they stand on the agro list, and he is immune to any kind of knock down(even the easymode horse kicks that trivialize 99% of the mobs in the game). Not complaining that he's hard mind you, I just wish his target would switch so you could get a little warning before his 3k nuke clobbers a squishy.

I hope they didn't fix the infinite horse stamina bug today :P

Unarmed mobs have almost no attack speed while doing normal attack damage. So they hit for ~200 (the worms in eggo mounts at least) with about .5 delay opposed to say a cannibal hitting for ~200 every 1.5 seconds.

I'm late to the party on this one.

I'm living in Japan and can't get a AoC box without paying an arm and a leg and waiting a week or two for the package to arrive. I'd be willing to go through that if I actually like the game... but I'd like to try it first.

I've heard there are friend codes out there... is it possible to download the game if you have a friend code? If so, anyone feeling generous with their code?

kahilm the buddy system is not implemented yet, and they promised a fuckton of guest passes (a million should be going out).

You can grab the 500kb USA early access .exe and it will download the whole thing and you can patch it.

But you gotta give it a week or two until they double their servers for the guest passes or wathever.
