I'm still trying to figure out how they decided who to ban. Because there are guild leaders who collected gold from their guild members and still have all of it. So it doesn't seem like they just did a simple if then statement. There are several GM's that have stated they have more than 50-60g from collections and it is still there.

Well since no other ToS responded...

Though I am only 20, i recommend getting stormshield(i think thats what its called). Its available after you put 5 points into the lightning tree. It absolutely sucks at first, but by level 18, after buffing it up, it became really useful aoe damage. I think the class improves a ton just before 20, the heals get a big boost and the lightning skills go up a new rank.

Anyway, you'll want to be aiming for Idol of Set in the lightning tree. Right now you can spam as many idols as you want, so it will make leveling a breeze until they fix it.

If they ever get around to fixing it then respec for whatever you want =)

The wiered thing is it seems to just be guild leaders and or architects never other members getting suspended.

That's because like in prison, no one is ever guilty of wrong doing in these situations. Everyone was an innocent guild leader with legit gold. Do you honestly expect these guild leaders to come out and say some of the money they got might have been from a member who exploited?

The question is, why not just remove the portion that was gotten by someone who was caught exploiting? I mean thats like saying I buy something from someone (since the AH doesnt work) and because they are a sploiter POOF i go.

Heavy handed justice for exploiting is good. Just removing the portion that was gotten through exploiting sends a message, but not the message they want.

If guilds know their entire haul is gonna get fucked over if someone cheats, they won't let anyone cheat.

So they can continue to exploit more gold? And then turn around have to remove even more? I admit the suspension for an innocent person sucks, but what is their alternative? As for your hypothetical, how would they know you aren't involved?

EDIT: for anyone who has ever been in a top end guild you know how much exploiting and cheating goes on.

Well noone even knows if it was exploited gold because they didnt even do an investigation.... they suspended first then started investigating.

Well, just to add more information to the case, the Goonheim guild who funneled tons of gold to their GMs were not banned, and none of their gold was taken.

I also know first hand of 2 GMs who have 50+ gold, and were not banned or had their gold taken. There's definitely more than just a clean sweep of all players/banks over a certain threshold.

Clearly with all the funds they get from members they paided off a GM.

Thats actually disheartening because the goonheim's set up a bunch of bots to farm the ez-resource zone last weekend and then reported it after they had built their city up......
