I am curious (hopeful) to see if this game's release will effect Blizzard's MMO market share in Asia.

| Have a feeling some people are not really understanding Zehn's points, oh well. I had high hopes for this game when I started playing the CN retail, but my view soured later on when the game devolved into a PK fest...the whole point of the game as far as I could tell at 25+. Don't get me wrong here, I did have fun a few times running around in the Abyss with a pack of people killing Asmo's...until we ran into a lvl35+ (while at 28), which was pointless. But there just isn't enough PvE in the game at that point so you could avoid the Abyss and its high lvl ganks, if you wanted too. Which meant that at 27+ you -have- to hunt in the Abyss for simple XP, and by hunt I mean -grind- since there are very few quests to do. Zehn's point of respawning at your bind upon death is valid, imagine dying just outside Booty Bay, and respawning in Stormwind, nice trip back to your corpse. Would be great to have a graveyard system in Aion, as long at the graveyard is a protected area. I was disappointed that were no dungeons in the game, I guess there is a real dungeon somewhere in the Abyss for lvl30+, but prior to that all you had were outside area's with Elites. Would be nice to have dungeons (enclosed), instanced or not, at more lvl ranges. I had a lot of fun running through those elite area's though with a nearly full group on my Chanter (Geist guild), and doing so was well worth the time/effort, but for those who do come late into the game, getting a group for those questlines will suck. Could say more, but I've lost interest. Aion is a decent game, but its just a bit shallow (right now) with little or no PvE end-game, less than WAR. The whole point of the game is capturing Forts in the Abyss. If that is all you want to do, you'll enjoy the game longer than 90% of the people who try it out, if you would rather do more than just run around in gank squads and siege Forts, then you'll loose interest quick. |

Also there is enough bind locations past the noob area that dieing is basically going to the graveyard. If you forget to bind then yeah that can suck, still dieing in this game is something you really want to avoid due to the harsh penalty. |

+78 Internets | Yeah that sucks, still if you know what you are doing it makes a difference as well. Died like 30 times on my scout/ranger korean beta, now that I know what is up haven't died once on my sorcerer. Lack of lag and the root helps though. |

And Seig, you might want to refrain from correcting people until you can learn to spell really hard English contractions like "you're". It makes you look like a fucking moron and people will automatically discount anything else you post about.

+166 Internets | Pretty much. I don't regret playing EQ2, Lotro, etc...etc...even if I quit around the level 20~30's. It was 50 bucks and I got a good 20+ hours of gameplay out of it which is more then I get out of most games. It's still neat to check it out and try new shit. It's just don't expect the romance to last once the new game smell wears off. WoW may be a bit formulaic now but at least it doesn't actively try to piss me off (Unless I'm reading Ghostcrawler posts, then it's inevitable that I'll get pissed off that anybody could be that fucking stupid). Having to do 4 subcombines before I can make gear with tradeskills with a pass/fail system? It only took EQ2 what, 2 years to figure out that was a stupid fucking idea? Quote:

| 2000 gold is too much? hahaha man you just lost a lot of credibility there. This is the equivalent of someone going to the wow forums saying 30 silver for a flight path is too expensive for their level 5. Just to give some perspective on how much gold players have, $5 buys you 1 million gold on the Chinese servers atm. |

| How is that perspective? That's low because of the number of gold farmers. The question is how much gold are you netting during an hour grind session.
