Where did you read any thing about Q3? I've seen a bit saying Q4. Don't get me wrong Q3 would be awesome, but I just haven't seen any thing saying that.

I remember something like "autumn" being said in an interview..

Vehn: Huh? You mean Q2.. at least I mean Quartal / quarters.. 1-3 q1, 4-6 q2, 7-9 q3, 10-12 q4. Or do I have a massive brainfail here?

Much as I would enjoy a new game to play I am hoping they stick to Q4. The hours I was able to put into the game was enough for me to be very interested in a more NA friendly version but a asian version + shitty language pack is not what I had in mind.

My biggest concern is support. The game looks like it could be a blast but I don't want the headache of being on a server where I can't understand half the player base. What is even worse is trying to get some customer service and getting a GM who can barely understand me heh. NA based servers and a NA based staff are something I HOPE they consider being more "western friendly". If they fix the broken english, have NA based servers and a kill/level speed more to the tastes of western culture then they have a damn good product on their hands.

Speaking of leveling/kill speeds I was alright with the level curve. The few hours of testing I did felt right with the amount of progress I was making. Not knowing what to do and playing a priest the levels still felt like they rolled in at a acceptable pace. The level curve was fine but I agree with Hate on kill speed. It's slow. Now part of that I could tell was due to the server being on the other side of the planet. The global cooldown was lagged there was no denying that. Even if that gets fixed with more local servers I think the speed is still too slow. I would be much happier with a slightly steeper level curve so long as kill speed was cut in half. I don't see the fun in having epic, drawn out battles with a pig.

Ebgames has 9/1. It won't be on that day but I'm pretty sure it'll be close. I can't see them taking till December to release this game stateside.

If they can't do less HP on the mobs then a faster cooldown on abilities would be nice as well.

Hmm. I'm already a level 14 Gladiator, having put negligible effort/time into the grind. Maybe it's just my class, but the kill rate seems fine. It takes two Skillchains from me, solo, to asspound a mob 1-2 levels higher than me for 2.8k XP.

Did you think about the PvP implications of reducing cooldowns when you said this?

As a 23 Spiritmaster, I can't say too much on kill speed, since most of my stuff are dots or hard coded pet damage. Things die in 4-5 key presses though.

It does look like damage is falling behind mob hp though. Early teens I could cast 3-4 things on one mob, and then use the other CD spells and DD vs a 2nd target for twice the exp, though at a horrible mana cost. Can't do that now, both since the left over spells and DD's won't get the job done, but also because I'm getting extremely fragile. Mobs blow through my rune-style spell and tear into me in no time flat.

I guess that offsets the fact that as long as I don't get resists on my 4 snares and/or roots, I can solo group mobs. Got 20k exp, 1500 gold, and 5 items off of a veteran Krull scout. The exp's trash (better off just grinding 4-5 normal mobs in the same time span), but the rest made a warm fuzzy.
