| I'm one of the legions of players who hasn't touched a Korean MMO after experiencing Lineage 2, but I'm going to give this one a try. I'm on the website right now trying to register, but as always I'm having difficulty because I don't have a Korean SSN. There's a note on the registration page about foreign people registering, but the instructions provided don't work either. For those already registered, please provide some details on how you got through. I can translate for anyone needing it, just PM me with a screenshot or copy/pasted text. |

| You need a kssn to create your account, however, to activate it and make it valid for korean's OBT, you need to attach a cell phone number (a korean one) in order to validate your account, they send you a SMS after that with info about activating it. Hard to get into it unless you have a korean friend or unless you want to pay some Korean kid for it. They have already 16 servers opened for the OB, would be crazy if they didn't put that security in place :< |

| Yeah, I thought that would be the case. Looks like I'll be heading down to a comp cafe to get someone's SSN tomorrow. Let's get a list going of who wants to play so I know how many kids I have to beat up. |

| Looks like the OB will be capped at level 30 with no abyss, hopefuly there will be rifts if so to get my pvp fix, but it's still to be translated so there's nothing for sure, google doesn't help. Starting in 6 hours ^^ so excited. |

| I remember when they first started the alpha builds the levels looked just like Far Cry still, since they were reusing a lot of the art as they built their own (Crytek generally doesn't mind this, as long as no Far Cry assets make it into betas or retail.) Now, however, the visuals seem to have come into their own. The cry engine makes this look nice, the Korean art works well in it. I still laugh a little inside knowing where they stole the idea for this game from, and how far it has actually come since 2004/2005. As long as they revamped the entire net-code (can't see how they could make this game happen with the Cry engine if they didn't,) this game looks fun. I think something like this will doom the game to "Was fun for 2 weeks..." FFxi style in the west. Because you just know that the Koreans will fuck it up and the handful of 'optimal' stigma stones will require 30 people camping a mob on a 4 hour respawn timer that is crazy rare and the stone you need will be a .04% chance to drop. I do not have faith. But it'll still be fun up until level 15! Then the novelty of endless kill quests with no heart or soul will fade away (hi2u lotro) and the limitless bugs and balance issues will wear you down (hi2u AoC) and then the pointlessly repetative and laughably balanced end game will crush any remaining spirit you have (hi2u WAR). Then the uninspired PvP and other outdated mechanics that haven't evolved after 5 fucking years will reduce your remains to ashes (hi2u WoW). Toss in a complete lack of understanding of just what constitutes "not a retarded fucking grind" to the West (every goddamn asian/korean mmo ever)... It's then that you realize once and for all that almost every MMO is terrible after your free week is over and the only relevant information in this day and age is "Where are the majority of my friends playing?" I'm so very, very bitter. Please make the hurting stop. 8( | |

+79 Internets | I hear you Zhen which is why I look at MMO's now as something to always play with friends or a good guild. The EQ days are gone, but with about one new main stream MMO a year you can just move onto the next one. Making them more like a console RPG. Play until you beat the game then never play it again or play until the newness goes away and enjoy it with friends making it essential a co-op RPG. Possible come back after major content update/fixes or expansions. Yay for new RPG ![]() |

| The system requirements (minimum) are Geforce 6600, 1 gb of RAM and 3,2GHz processor. A clannie of mine is running it on a weaker machine tho and he hasn't lagged during the first minutes with the initial rush of people. |
