I'm having a problem. When I launch the game, the region dialog comes up, but I can't select any of the regions.

When I delete all the *.ini in my folder, I can select a region again, but then after that, there's another "update error"

** EDIT: Oh that's weird, I changed the "separate version" in my versionINFO ini to "0" and it works now.

I'll be switching to a laptop as my main computer. I've been looking at one with a 9600M GT with 512MB DDR2. Is anyone playing with a vid card that is comparable to it and can you tell me how the performance is? I'm just looking for good frame rates at a decent video setting.

Pyros I have none of the lag issues you are talking about. I am on the west coast of the US tho, maybe that makes a difference to China. It is not as instant as my 70ms WoW ping time games, but it is pretty damn snappy really. Plenty playable.

I played the Korean retail version with a 8800 GTS (640MB) with everything maxed and got 60+ fps everywhere except large Abyss battles and the auction house with everything maxed. The game runs very well considering how good it looks.

I currently run the Beta with an oc'd Geforce Go 7900GS 256 MB, and get about 20 FPS on High settings no AA. Get about 35 on Med Settings and no AA. Sometimes it goes up to 60-70fps, but that's just when you're only viewing your character and a wall.

I'm playing with an onboard Radeon 3200HD I think. It works fine with my TV at 1360 x 768 on high, no AA. I don't think a 9600M GT would have any problem.

just pick the server Azeriel in region 2... got a guild with ~17 FOH'ers in it

Yeah I figured I was the only one lagging THAT much because it's really bad on my side. Do note that I play from europe though, so connection quality is definitely different, not necessarily worse but in this case it seems. It's not like I can't play, but the delay between key presses and actualy reaction is about 1secs, sometimes go a bit lower for like a mob, and quite often also doubles for insane shit lag. I've played in the US and stuff, and even back when I had 250ms or so(early internet days, ISDN/dialup stuff) it wasn't really that bad.

Currently this feels about the same as a 10PM wintergrasp in wow. It's not living hell like a 7PM one, but it's still just as frustrating. Since I doubt it'd improve I'll probably just wait for an US open beta if they ever make one(at least to stress test servers) and the game itself.

I am using a 9700M GT and am having zero issues running full settings on everything with 4x AA, 8X AA gets a bit laggy dropping into the 20's while fighting. You should be fine using the 9600.
