okay now that my rage at the existance of hamtaro monsters has slightly ...slightly subsided ill try to make a more serious post on the matter.

Pro's
Game has wonderful visuals. If you are a fan of Korean style mmo's this game looks absolutly stunning, following the beautiful skins and feel of Lineage 2.

Personally i like the buildup style class system. I know alot of people dont prefer it, but i like starting as a archtype and choosing the path i take every 20 levels or whatever. Like doing quests to promote the class changes, has a very good way of drawing you into your character.

Combo's - another aspect that i both love and occassionaly hate. When your running on a great machine with good latency they are great additions to combat, anything less and it can feel like tedium in order to try to get them to work.

Con's
NCsoft has alooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go to build my trust in any MMO they present since Lineage 2. That game past level i don't know 15 or 20 sucked balls. Grinding for ceaseless hours for little to no reward was aweful. Thier loot system was aweful, everything having a super rare chance to drop anything sucked. I could go on and on about the woe's of Lineage 2 but i wont.

PVP - game looks like its going to have some serious support for those of us who enjoy organized pvp. But lets hope they learned thier lesson from the idiotic FFA that was L2.

I dunno most of my major problems with this game stem from my fears that its just a prettied up version of Lineage 2. I personally love the anime style that Lineage 2 and this game present and i will give it a shot in Open Beta in NA, here's hoping it doesn't let me down!

Koreans have the art talent, if they can pull it together this time it might actually be a great MMO. Those spell/ability animations were crazy in that latest video.

Can you imagine a game built on WoW's game mechanics (like classes and ease of use) coupled with the graphics from this game... I would be hooked for life.

crazians have some kind've facination with furries.
You are allowed to kill em, they go hide in corners and cover themselves while you do. You can kill only the ones who help the oppossite faction though.

I'm in OB with my guild ^^ already created my char and the real thing starts on November 11th.

Fleiva, Asmodian Chanter on the server nš 13 (프레기온) *ie works better with that link.*

3 Questions,

1. Is the game actually fun?

2. When is their NA OB supposedly going to start?

3. What is thier projected release date?

Right now im enjoying WAR, however with Wotlk a week out, i suspect that will entertain me for several months. This comes out around April/May it may see me purchase it (considering how well the OB goes).

Been following this game for a while... lost focus due to WAR, but that new video has me excited again. I'd really like to hear feedback on the game play compared to WoW/WAR

1. I haven't played it enough to say if it's fun or not and be taken as a trustable source, I played it on this years Games Convention in Germany and I enjoyed my time, I focused there mainly on combat, and combat IS fun, didn't get to test the whole game yet so can't say about the rest, but the videos released look like something I'd have fun with.

2. There will be "preview events" like in guild wars, they are meant to be starting on the first quarter of 2009 in NA and in europe.

3. The projected release date for korea is december, in US/EU 4/6 months after Korea.

I plan on grinding to reach the pvp area asap, don't think I'll be able to quest in Korean unless it's really intuitive, I've memorized the basic quests tho (Daeva/Stigma/Abyss access) and I think I'll be able to do them with no issues, anyways, Ill try all the blue quests (main storyline) to see if I can get them done. There will be a fan made english "patch" tho for everything except quests and mobs.

And nope, Im not korean, Im Spanish :P

I plan on doing some streaming shows once me and my guildies reach the abyss, so people can see us pvping, would give you the link if you wanted but all you'd hear are Spanish people talking in vent while playing :P

I would still appreciate a link if you don't mind.

Of the streaming? Not up yet, will post it here once we start playing.

You can check this one meanwhile Aion Livestream by Riboswitch

It's a german guy playing with the customization (the only thing available till November's 11th).
