Considering this thread went from a few pages a day to 3 days for one page I guess we can estimate the number of people who stopped playing/caring.

Dragon Age came out I'm waiting for proposed exp/quest changes for 40+ to get implemented, because I can't spend 8 hours a night to make meaningful progress.

Not like any other MMOs coming out soon anyways.

There also really isn't much to talk about =x

Least not until a patch comes out.

So friends and I are around 40, we're looking to grind some abyss points. Glad, Assassin and Cleric. Figure grinding repeatable quests would be the best method? Or does anyone have a better idea? We currently control all the fortresses on the bottom level of the abyss so guard grinding is out. The Artifacts didn't seem that good for grinding.

I've been duoing with a friend who is also a ranger on the upper level doing repeatable quests and whatever random quests we come along.

PVP is just frequent enough to take a break and we don't even notice the grind.

Been doing the klaw quest in upper abyss? Thats pretty decent XP and I think the mobs are 40. Prolly would have been better to start that at 38 though.

Probably. But we were grinding Mau for our boots then.

And yeah, we tried the klaw quests. Was just annoying to get quest from shard teleporter and fly all the way back. Was wondering if there was a more efficient method.

That, and the people who bitched the most have moved on.

I'm up to 41 and nothing new to report on the game, but still having fun playing it. Still see loads of people in the game who are most likely subscription users.

I'm a bubble or so shy of 50 and I honestly am not sure I care whether or not I actually finish this level or not. The grind in addition to watching bots farming plat coins all around me have really disenchanted the game. I'm still looking forward to Dark Poeta and Dredgions (still haven't done one), PvPing without feeling like my time would be better spent leveling as well as a bunch of quests etc... to get caught up on. The people I play with haven't quit yet so I won't either (not that I want to quit anyway).

The game is still fun its just lost some of the zing it used to have.

Congrats on killing a bunch of low levels? Five of them beating on you barely hurt you.

Not sure its available for download anywhere besides Steam.

I don't think there is any SOE backdoors where any jackass can connect to the download server and get a free client, or harvest as many gigs of SOE data as they desire.

Dig around the torrents.
