The worst thing about Chanter HoTs is they don't stack with HP pot, and HP pots are usually better so it gimps them a little bit. The plus though is that if you have good gear and are fighting something close to your level (up to maybe 3 levels) all you have to do is throw it on at the beginning and you shouldn't be low on health.

The 30s are the worst level ranges for chanters, but its not unbearable. 34 we get a new skill that gives us an attack on a knocked down mob (so sweet after pentacle shock triggers) and a pretty nice stigma group HoT for 1500 in 10 seconds. Also, the 3000DP skill we get is awesome...20% run/atk speed for 5 minutes for group. My biggest complaint is the lack of chain gear for chanters in the 30s though...I resorted to spending some APs since the other options suck.

I don't really mind that pots don't stack. I usually only use the direct heal health pots anyways if I need one. But the really stupid thing is that they won't override a hot, or mana ones won't override the odella thing. It took me a while to realise that if you hit the pot with a hot or the mana regen thing up, it just consumes the pot and doesn't do shit. Doesn't make any sense that it doesn't override it since it's better healing/mana regen.

I thought that one of the reasons there are EU servers is that the maintenance is during the time people don't play, not from 1pm to 6 pm. Also, Telemachos eu is lagging like no tomorrow...

I did 22 to 24 in about 2-1/2 to 3 hours doing undead and little cherub looking mother fuckers in Theobemos or whatever that zone is called with a SM the same level as I. We got his and my DP maxed .. the he did the buff on his pet .. and befor the buff wore out since there are so many mobs next to each other .. we had it up again .. constant rape train.

Are you saying you'll never once die on your way to the 700k AP that is necessary for a weapon? One death is a huge penalty when you're forced to only grind about 60-80k a day from quests because dying is a horrible waste of time.

Personally I think there should be a AP limit for PvE. If your rank is high enough you shouldnt be able to farm safe locations or mobs for AP.

If you die, you dont deserve that weapon.

if the system was balanced based on your standing vs the standing of other people of your class then it would be ok to say that after a certain point you cant get ap from mobs, but fact is some classes die alot more than others, there is a reason the ap standings in korea are so massively skewed in favor of a few classes. Its just like wows arenas when the balance gets bad some classes just have it 10x harder than others, atleast in aion you have the option to farm it some other way so you dont just end up at the point where you might as well reroll.
