Not anymore, open beta is the next stage in Korea (hopefuly no IP block, even if it's just to check the lowbie zones and mess around a bit) the date should be announced on August 14th iirc, and I expect that closed beta dates in Europe and US will be announced at Leipzig GC and Penny Arcade expo respectively. Those two events will have a playable demo of Aion and huge stands promoting the game (I'll be attending to GC this year ^^), and many info coming from Brighton and Austin seem to point at these beta announcements, it's speculation and wishfull thinking on my part though.

A new gameplay video was released a couple of days ago. Starting at 2:00, it shows off what appears to be class specific spells/moves...check the 2:22-2:24 spell, holy shit!

I've always thought the game looked pretty. It's all about the gameplay and how many babies you have to kill as you grind through it.

Game still looks pretty cool, but an awful lot of stuff in that new video gave me L2 flashbacks. And what the fuck is with the mole creatures? I definitely have to second feeling the need to kill those things the moment I saw them.

This game looks amazing.

If the gameplay is 50% as good as the graphics, they have a winner here.

If they insist on going with the 70+ man zerg end game bosses or .001% experience per mob kill ala L2 bullshit then this game will fail.

I just hope they copied WoW's raiding setup.
