They just broadcast "shutting down in 1 minute" and then shut them off. I hope they're fixing stores, heh.

It's a good fun game, has sort of a today-EQ vibe but with a pvp heavy endgame, sorta polished but currently fucked over queues if you don't pick one of the two low population servers. The launch was sub-par so far (at least for me) also having gold seller whisper spam (although not a lot of em).

Yea I would assume as much, no official word on how long they will be down other than a tweet earlier saying unexpected server downtime is unexpected.

Possibly bringing up new servers and/or upgrading hardware to deal with increased server caps..

Misread the above post, I did read somewhere that they are going to add new servers by this weekend, I guess it is today.

They need to make it so you have to get to at least level 5 to whisper to people just like you have to do to chat in general. Yeah it would suck for a little bit but it would force these gold sellers to put in some time on each account which they would have to do every single time they wanted to spam people. Either that or give me some kind of way to block whispers from people under X level. I've probably gotten 30 or more whispers from these asshats selling kinah.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the faction balance cap, so far there is 1-3% more Asmodians on each server, which I didn't expect.

I noticed that..but honestly the fact that the unbalance is within 5% is the best part.

i had a queue yesterday, took about an hour to get in so i killed time by tabbing aion and loaded wow. Now i know to load aion and sit afk in the shop like everyother motherfucker in this game when i start work in the morning.
