With the 3 hour long queues it makes you have to stay logged in as a shop too. Which doesn't help the queue problem at all. I made the mistake of logging out last night =(

So how many other people are having problems downloading the client? I had over 2 gigs downloaded (average download rate ~300kbps) and then I got some random error and the download reset to 0% (ugh).

Got my copy today at gamestop but the activation code isn't good until midnight. I'm installed and patched up and I feel like I've been in a queue all day long.

I got my copy off Steam and had it downloading at 600k/sec which is the fastest I've seen on my dsl. Had me completely capped on speed i'm sure. Definitely glad I went that route over ncsoft with all the horror stories.

What exactly is the point of player shops when you have a broker system?

Shouldnt the player shops at least be tied into the broker system or something?

It just seems useless at this point.

All depends on its use. I know that I make a killing by setting up a Player Shop in the Weaponsmithing/Armorsmithing area. I just sell Iron, Aether, and Fluxes for double the AH cost. Many people seem willing to pay for the convenience.

Ok I just got my ranger to 11, and uhhh, does this get any less retarded? or should I just reroll now? having to constantly kite does not seem to fit my play style

Definetly not WoW speed when it comes to leveling. Only up to lvl9 as a warrior so cant really comment on the depth or anything beyond the newbie area.

Play a sorc and you will probably not want to level a ranger anymore after, the dps difference is like night and day.
I hear rangers improve significantly at lvl16, and at the end-game they have more survivability in pvp which is why they are still common. Sorcs just die so fast in pvp and are the first to be targeted almost always.

From what I hear, Ranger sucks giant balls till lvl 20. At which point its gets enjoyable. All this is second-hand knowledge though.

A guy in my guild got DC'd at 25 hours exactly. I think he got back in without the queue, though.

Guys from what I hear rangers become good around 16-20 and have more survaviability at lvl 50 while sorcerers are easier to level but are insta-gibbed. can any1 confirm this
