+42 Internets | I meant combat depth, it was very limited, a lot had to do with ping and luck, and some part was borderline exploitive mechanics. It was fun, at least as a mage, but it was more an action game than a mmo. The game itself was nice though, and yeah the events were awesome. My best memory is when they did the Bhaelzharon event, and a GM played him and he was raining down meteors in Kara, then Zeke swore to him and Blood was under Bhaelzharon for a few days, this was pretty awesome. |

I remember when I first joined Blood. I was Kono Hito at the time, ended up swearing to Dan at Shoushi west after a huge battle between Blood and Og and friends.

+11 Internets | Does anyone have experience in later levels with SINS? How stunny are they? I read some FAQs and see they have tons of different stuns, will this be a repeat of the old World of Roguecraft days? I'll likely play one to help the wife level, while having a healer main (I play too much, she'd never keep up with me otherwise )I'm only asking, because my poor G15 keyboard cannot survive many more beatings that WAR caused it while being CCd from full to dead ad naseum. ![]() |

I don't think the mechanic itself is what makes the class annoying, it's how you manage balance besides that. Rogues were terrible at some point in BC arenas because they were simply too strong, stealth or not. Witch Elf was exactly the same shit, it wasn't because of stealth but because the class was retarded to begin with. Stealth is only a means to get in melee range fast most of the time, just like Charge for warriors. Anyway wasn't bothering with new answers for the SINS questions since I'm pretty sure I answered those very same question at least twice already in this thread, but to sum it up, if you were crying about rogues in vanilla wow, chances are you'll spend most of your time crying on aion too, and I wouldn't play it then(or would play a sin).

| Stealth fucks with players because they feel cheated, you can never have advantage against rogue, bar more people. Being the only class that can choose the time and place of the fight is very big psychological advantage over anyone who doesn't pvp on daily basis. You could see this in TBC, where rogues sucked during season 1, because people were expecting them and defended accordingly. |

I have no issue with stealth in a group vs group setting, we'll see how assassins are at endgame PvP in Aion. It seems most of you are complaining about 1v1 PvP, which is pretty pointless since it's a group PvP game.

That could be my TF2 hardon talking, but if MMORPGs need something, it's fewer skills and rules, better gameplay and balance that doesn't turn 180° every patch

| I dont know why some people despise 1 v 1/solo pvp. IMO, there is nothing more invigorating than going mano e mano. Also, going out into the field solo, looking for trouble, is fucking fun, especially if you can find small groups or other solo'ers.

| Depends on the game. If it's a squad based game then it's hard to balance all classes 1v1, and vice versa.

That's why I liked 1vs1 vs rogues the most on my hunter in wow, which is the class I played the most in vanilla when I actually cared about pvp(Hillsbrad then first BGs up until a few months after AB). You never knew when the fight was going to begin, and once it started you had no room for mistakes, but it was entirely doable, and that's with the old deadzone. I hated mages much more than rogues, cause even though I could see them coming, there was little to do against double trinket ap pompyro(besides popping my engi trinket and hoping I timed it right ^^).

| A Bearded Gnome | Breaking: North American Aion servers to be located on east coast - Massively Oceanic and West Coasters get screwed.. If you're only going to have one location for servers at least put it in the midwest.
