Killing Avast then launching then turning avast back on works. I've added everything I can think of to exceptions, dunno why the two programs hate each other.

My only complaint with the graphics is the lack of v-sync. I get some pretty noticeable tearing. I'm running at near max settings and the framerate stays high which is appreciated. Feels like a solid graphics engine although I'd like to see it in the Abyss with a bunch of players on screen to see how taxing it can get.

The lag has not gotten any better at all for me since yesterday. Even logging in at 5 AM with very few players around me in some areas everything was still heavily lagging.

Basically every single skill I do has a 1+ second delay on it and sometimes it just freezes up completely for 10-15 seconds at at time. Yesterday it used to kick me from game almost everytime that happened and today it isn't so there is a very very small improvement, but it's still pretty much unplayable for me on the Vaizel server.

I have level 15 mage that looks like Asian Gnome Looks totally fucking retarded.

I had read so much hype here about game, dont care how good game play is Raiding and Pvp if Models are going to look like Final Fantasy meets Zelda meets Wow.

I was expecting Models for characters and mobs,bosses etc to be Fantasy but not made for 12 year Old EMO market.

I Realize this is Asian MMO.

So are their any plans for them to update Models before launch on US?

At Higher levels in Game does anyone here that is 30+ to 50 years old think the Models in game arent EMO-rific?

Really think if get Raid stuff in and pvp game could be good maybe even very good.

But Immersion is Number 1 thing for me and this due to Models being so Asian like for characters which understand as the creators are Asian but haveing hard time loveing game due to fact makes you feel like 6-12 year old little boy playing fucking console game.

So to those that are 20-30+ characters played beta for long time and are Adults does this emoish feel of Models ever Improve?

I had thought Myself and wife would been playing our beta accounts all weekend but we both cant get how retarded the Graphics feel.

Graphics look decent we geting really high FPS have all set to max, but just seems like their marketing this game to wow, free realms type of game, graphics are way to kiddie emo-rific for us.

Our 16 and 17 year old daughters tried game last 2 days they like gameplay but they even said Models in game are insulting to anyone over 12 years old.

So to all Long time MMO vets of Board here and over 30+ years old Do Models ever get better?

I think there's alot of customization that you can do with the character creator but if you dont like the style they are presenting then you may be out of luck.

I messed around with some settings and for whatever reason the game looks the best for me at 1280x720. I was running at 1600x900 but the game looked a little washed out and the text was slightly fuzzy. Turning on the fps meter reveals almost no difference in framerate at either resolution. 40+ in the most crowded areas and well over 100 out in the woods with everything set at max and AA at 4x.

Models look great to me. I think it is just a matter of what you like. I enjoy the more manga type feel it has.

I do fall into that over 30+ year category by the way.

Also to Mippo, I was running great last night. This morning however I've been DC'd 4 times in the past 10 minutes on Vaizel. Tried different channels aswell.

To be Clear we have all Graphic setting On Max everything geting Great FPS so its not issue of the engine or are all of our pcs at home.



Just thought of best way can describe the Graphics-Models for mobs, bosses, npcs, character is.

Its Like as Mature Adult, Married with Career as Software Patent Law Lawyer watching fucking MR.Rogers just want to Slap the shit out of these kiddiefied Graphics.

Im 45 Years old, Wife is 38 years old, we have 2 Daughters almost 18 like said, we really wanna like and love this game need New Good MMO badly but Mr Fucking Rogers Graphics are not leting this Happen.


Graphics on Max are Mr. Rogers meets Barney, Meet Zelda, Meets wow, Meets final Fantasy, meets everquest Free Realms.

Their should be Warning before you pre order and buy games on all sites , warning Graphics are emo-rific very Disappointed.

AlekseiFL I understand where you are coming from but the character models and such are not a turn off for me. It's purely a personal preference and in this case I dont mind the style.

And on that note I just bought the CE from NCSoft's sight. Fry's is still showing actual boxed copies for $70 for sale but I'd rather have the digital for $10 cheaper and so thats what I went with. $59.99 no tax, no shipping!

Now the only bad part is the 2 month (ish) wait!
