For anyone who pre-ordered with Amazon how soon did you get a key after ordering? And do you need to do anything to request it or just put in your pre-order and presto?

so is grinding faster then questing for leveling? I hit 10 in ~4 hours played duo'ing. All these quests have me running around for not that much XP, but the money / gear / titles are nice. i know Verteron especially has a bunch of running around quests.

So anyone try getting to 20 by pure grinding?

Questing is faster than than pure grinding. I've gotten 5 characters to level 10 and the longest of the bunch took about 2 and half hours. There might be quite a bit of running around, but in the end there is going to be a quest for the same mobs you will be grinding on.

As far as trying to get to 20, I don't know my top character is level 15 and moving at a pretty fast pace with quests.

Done both. It's a bit of a wash. Grinding is faster if you're a mage archtype and just focus on low hp mobs that die in 2~3 hits as opposed to the normal 4~5. Even faster if you chain chug mana pots so you don't have to med as often.

Both are pretty viable, but the cutscene thing is pretty neat and even if you spend a lot of time running around, getting 2/3rds of a level for finishing a campaign is kinda neat.

Plus grinding because annoying when nubs doing quests come through and start pulling all your mobs. 8(

Grinding in a high dps duo or trio with no down time and constant mobs is the best exp.

I have absolutely no desire to play until release. These weekend betas are pointless.

Well at least they show one thing, even with channels and queues(had ~3mins when I logged in earlier), the server is still laggy as shit. Like, goes fine most of the time but get 1-3secs lag freezes every now and then, which is annoying as shit. Press wings, nothing happens, press again, server defreeze, open and close them instantly, have to wait 10secs ^^.

Not really a great thing if this shit is lagging already though.

As for grinding vs questing, at low level questing is definitely worth it, once you get enough good abilities you can grind efficiently even solo and it becomes much less interesting. And if you're willing to pot, don't think there's a point in questing at all but for the titles, which are not very good for casters anyway(get a better title at 10 in the next zone from a shitty quest).

Also an interesting bug my friend got, his account went from a US account to an Euro account. He can log in on the euro server(with no chars there) but can't log on the US servers anymore.

Ok, yet another "getting a beta key question."

Ordered from Amazon on Tuesday, but no key and looks like i won't get one in time for this weekend. If i canceled that Pre-order and went over to Gamestop or some local store to pre-order would they give me a key right there?

Or i think someone was mentioning you can buy a key for like $5-6 bucks online somewhere?
